Hi there guys
seen a set of black rota GT3 alloys getting them at a really good price so they can be used on my other GT
question is - these wheels are mint BUT a few bits around the edges of the polished lip have alight corossion like the laquer has peeled off & slightly corodded on the edges
iF i was to buy these how could i bring the to standard finish ? what will need to be done ??

Sand them down with about 6 different grades of paper until you get to a really fine one, sand it untill its really really smooth then hit it with autosol, done my mates grids not long ago, alot of hard work and bloody fingers but the finish is worth it, and if your doing one wheel do them all

Hi guys
wasout tonight in my mates car we've drove itlike 300+ miles running the head gasket & clutch in
was out in the car today & we heard like a whistle noise so pulled over immeditaely to find out the new adjustanble cam gear had come loose so we tightened it up started the car only to find out its warped the cam gear by heat ??
cam gear & all the pulleys were brought from CJ perfomance like 2 years ago but only just recently fitted them to the car & are 300 miles old only so why would this happen ? i personally told him i think they might be a cheap chinese make thats why the issue ??
what to do now ?
buy a quality sSTRONGER cam gear from anyone who sells them on here ??
OR just put a standard one back on??
has anyone have a standard cam gear on here ??

previous owner used semi synthetic LS90 MILLERS gear oil
the one above on the link is LS-80/90 is this the same as the LS90 oil ? as its closest i could find
recently i changed my gearbox oil on mates car & his box is soo loudon full locks its so unbelievably loud/clunks like somethings about to break but as soon as u turn either side full lock with clutch down thres no noise at all
CUSCO LSD previous owner used LS90 semi synthetic gear oil, where would i get this from?? or do i use the one on the link above reli need help ASAP as i have used some cheap oil called ''Granville LS 80/90'' atmo.. my diff was fine before changing the oil

& defo cant be steering rack because we managed to pull the passenger driveshaft out of the cv joint but this was due to mo circlip on the splines but we have fittef this now n its fine no play at all & we checked this whilst wheels wre on full lock on the ramp
& driverside shaft is nice n tight no play at all

Yes this has been posted twice & the drive shaft had so much play tht we managed to pull it out of the cv joint on passenger side this was maybe due to my mate not fitting the circlip which wr have now fitted but the noise is still there
Hes only changed the drivers cv joint but passenger cv joint is actually a year old
& i dont think its steering rack because the car was fine before parked up over the winter
& it's defo not the LSD noise because this is more of a clicking noise now might have to order a new cv joint on passenger side too even tho its only a year old :-/
Been stuck with this problem now for weeks so pissed off

Yeaah thts the next thing to do replace other joint too BUT thts only a year old & the noise us fr both sides when turning full lock the more i turn the more louder it gets :'(
Hate the car & confused as to what it can possibly be ite strange

I had a really bad 'Clicking' when on full lock both way's, replaced both cv joints and solved my problem.
Yeaah i've changed the driverside one but left hand side clunk has always been there because of my cusco LSD
Just not sure what to do or where to start with it today
Its a shame tho as its only last issue before its proply on the road
Anyone else know what it can be ?

Front brake disc heat shields are removed off the car because we thought it was only tha but NO
Reli neee to get this sorted now as this is the only last issue left on the car till it finally comes out to play after a year

Coilovers are only a year old its defo not from the suspension side of things
It only does it on quick turns & full lock
Dont want to order another CV joint & find out its not that again as replaced the driver side joint last week
Plus i had the shafts out last night & inspected them & the cv joints

Cv joints one is brand new fitted last week & the other is 1 year old
Had the shafts out today to inspect & thre all perfectly fine
Car was spot on before it went off road 1 year ago & since then been on axle stands removed engine etc
& i have BC coilovers so springs are seated proply
Been on it all day today but still same problem when full locking
Had the track rod ends changed so tracking is out too n tht about it

My last issue with the car is that -
I have a LOUD clicking/clunk noise from when turning right & left in full lock
Just to give u an idea Sounds abit like the wheels are scraping on plastic arch liners BUT its not
I know it sounds like cv joints but i've changed the driverside cv joint but still the same noise in full lock both sides
Absolutely puzzles to what it can be
Had the both drive shafts out today & inspected them & thre all fine
What can it possible be ? :-/
Car was fine before tuck off road 1 year ago since then had engine & suspension out n refitted it all recently
Only other think i know it needs tracking too as fittef track rod ends etc

Aa above wanting an adjustable panhard rod prefrebly a RSR one or any good make that will adjust whilst on the car
I currently have a white-line rod but its a ball ache to get the right settings
As i have to remove the full rod
Let me know what you have
