  1. I was looking at the celica st185's in the guide as I dont really want to go above 15" wheels. Think I'm going to scrap this idea in all honesty and just end up buying a proper conversion kit when I get all the dough together

Have done a bit more reading on brake setups aswell, is it true that just standard front discs, uprated pads, braided lines and a master cylinder stopper with be enough of an upgrade for a standard glanza? I may look to improove the HP later on but it well never go to 180 or more

  3. A mate had the exact same problem on her 106 and it sounded like you described - as if it was coming from the wheel, she even replaced the driveshafts and it was still there, later to be found out it was the engine mount.

Ok thanks for the advice mate, I'll check it Saturday when I do the cambelt and fingers crossed its fooked :)

  4. You sure it's not the engine mount knocking? There will be a bit of movement in the engine if suddenly letting off the throttle, and there's an engine mount on the driver's side.

Hmm I havent checked the engine mount but it really does not sound like that sort of knock, it sounds low down at the wheel. I will definately give it a look at though as im doing the cambelt saturday. Just annoying noise that I cant find

  5. I have a 97 Glanza with some unknown make of suspension on it and everytime I am driving when I lift of the accelerator I get a knock from the drivers front wheel. I have had the wheel off, tightened the hub nut, checked for play, bang the caliper to make sure the pads arent moving and I still cant find it

It sounds a bit like the driveshaft is knocking when I come off the accelerator but I dont know if that is possible? It does not knock with suspension movement only when coming off the accelerator

Any help or ideas will be greatly appreciated as its started to do my head it now!

  6. I have read through enzo's guide on this setup, I understand that the discs are 5x100 so I would need prius / corolla discs, the bit i'm a bit lost with reading the guide is the spacers. I have a glanza and looking to do this brake upgrade, I would just like to confirm that I would need spacers to space the disc with this conversion? If so where from?

    thanks in advance
