  1. really need to sort my N/S driveshaft, cant find any where that will do a complete shaft. everywhere ive tried will only do outer cv joints or i have to send my shaft off to be re-conned for 4-5 days. just wondering if anyone on here knows where i could get one from? Dan.

    EPIC!!

mate of mine put this link on facebook so i thought i'd have a cheeky look. and my mind has been well and truly blown. the scale of fabrication for this project and attention to detail is unbelievable. nearly jizzed in my pants at the sight of the exhaust fannymould anyway, thought some of you might appreciate it http://www.stanceworks.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11983
  5. without a doubt i would have the civic! with the spare change of £65211 you could turn it into an absolute BEAST! also, does anyone know where this road is?
  6. on another subject from cosmetics. i had to go into work today to refit my cat for m.o.t as the bloke i bought the car from had taken it off. but as was evident from the time i first drove the car the flanges he had made for the de-cat pipe had no gasket and were not meeting eachother at all so was blowing like a young dutch girl on a bank holiday! so i bought 4 flanges along with bolts & gaskets for £20 (after trade discount!) then prosceded to take the entire exhaust off to cut all the 'dodgy' bits out and weld in new pieces. after a mere 2 1/2 hours of cutting, grinding, welding
  7. never watched a full starwars film, but love my ewok bear! just a few after i had washed the little blue beast from the east! looking a lot better than when i get her ;) white wheels????
  8. so got up this morning to go to work and was very pleased to see that some little c*nt had put a nice key scratch from the O/S door to the boot lid!!! i think it really sets the car off with that little something extra. might add a few more and go for the rat look!
  9. thanks idrees. appologies for not being able to work everything yet, i am new to forums. was thinking of starting a thread in members other rides about the mini in the first picture. can anyone work out what it is? £10 pound to the geezer who can . Dan.
  10. 13"x7" are definately tempting! dunno what colour, the bodyshop guy at work is trying to persuade me many different ways but i think i might try glow in the dark orange to start. i have never seen it before and fancy a change ( regardless of what rims she's wearing! ) Liam_D: as i said, i live in stratford. dunno what MFN is but i bought the car from a lad in derby if that helps . anyone know of any meets in west mids anytime soon? need to get out there and meet some of the community. haha Dan.
  11. haha i knew there would be some controversy over the miniltes! i am undecided atm about putting them on, i only tried them on yesterday as we've got a uno turbo sitting at work with them on and i had a few minutes spare at the end of the day so just had to try . its not necessarily that i like the wheels just love the poke out the arches! might have to investigate spacers and slightly smaller wheels to avoid any inteferance. i think the colour is very sexual and goes well with black rims so atleast the colour scheme should remain (for now). oh and i live in stratford-upon-avon but NO i'm not
  12. hi my name's Dan ive got a caribbean blue starlet that ive had for about a month. absolutely love it! i know im a noob (and 'slightly' pissed ) so cant figure out how to put pictures on :/ ive got a few plans for it as time & money allows but hopefully will end up with something slightly different Dan. what it may look like in the future with the minlites
  13. hi i am new to this, so appologies if i have quoted the wrong thing! i have got a starlet (N/A) and through my work have managed to pick up a set of 'minilite' replicas. they aren't split rims like yours but very similar. i am just wondering what arches you used (im sure i read somewhere group 5 but they look too wide, i dont want the rims to be swalllowed) and details on how you fastened them?! when i test fitted them earlier i had about 1.5 - 2 inches poke outside the arch, is that what you had? any help would be much appreciated Dan.
  14. oh right, i read in a post somewhere someone said his gearbox was crunching and that it was a common problem with starlets lol :/ well when you sell it let me know
  15. hi i am new to the starlet scene but im looking to get an n/a model. what are common faults/problems to look out for on them. i read somewhere that the gearbox's are a common fault with the synchro's? any help or advice would be appreciated aswell as links if any of you are selling an n/a starlet. cheers Dan.
