  2. all the glanzas i saw run got middle high 16's so that made me feel a bit better , im chuffed with the 94.5mph whey!! my mate in his scoob got 1 sec quicker then me so hopefully after i get my set up fitted i shud beat him :D

there was some fast cars n some slow ones so now i know what to race n not to race haha

I was down there in my Glanza and set a 14.6 so i thought that was ok for a first time on the strip . Didn't let my tyres down so if i did might have got slightly better :(

  3. Thats the next job, could it be that the exhaust has changed to set up allowing gases to flow more freely?

And i take it lenghten should pull the boost down??

    John

Yeh completely mate. I have a HDI boost controller and my actuator is adjusted so it is the longest it can be with the wastegate closed still if you get me? so in other words you dont have to pull it out to clip it in. mine then boosts at about just over a bar. The actuator needs to be adjusted correctly as the boost controller cant phsically increse the flow to the actuator it only limits it to keep it at a certain boost level throughout revs. Mine boosts at about 0.65 bar at 3500rpm then slowly climbs to just over a bar at 6500rpm just the way it has to be. but i dont know if its just the hdi being cheap that this is the case? the wastegates on CT9 are crap and need to be ported anyways so if that was done would be better also.

  4. I have heard these have got a resistor that burns out when used on high power things for a long time. a good check to do is to get a multimeter if you have one? link the positive inside pin in the socket to the outer part (negative) with a bit of wire and then check continuity between the two spade connections on the back.

Mine has currently gone atm after using a cool box on it for a couple hours so going to get mine out in the next couple of days hopefully will let you know what the problem with mine was!

  5. Ok thanks for the advice. The idea in the first place was to run FCD with FPR and then have a boost controller. It just happens that my mate has a SAFC which has a couple map settings therefore doing what i would want from a boost controller and has a few mapping possibilities.

Due to money of an emange i think SAFC 2 and FCD is just a good option or are they no good?

Surely havin a mapping day a good mapper would be able to get closely the same performance out of the two???
