  1. Thanks mate. I'm not sure if the bump strips will stay yet. The bonnet will be replaced though and will be red
  2. Haha, true, true. No performance mods for a while though. Just exterior for now.
  3. It's a hole for a screamer pipe. I don't like it but the bonnet was mega cheap so can't complain
  4. After... I decided to remove the plasticity from the bonnet hoping the paint underneith was ok. It's not great but looks better than grey in my opinion... So that was my weekend progress. It looks so much better. The car is filthy and needs clay bar and machine polish all over. The bonnet will be replaced at some point. The front bumper will have the slats smoothed off and some mesh put in. 96 spec lip and fogs needed. Glanza spoiler needs paint as well as the rear bumper. Plate recess needs paint and the bootlid needs cutting to fit the recess. Skirts too.
  5. So a lot happened this weekend with regards to my car. I got home on friday and my 96 spec bumper had arrived. I really couldnt wait to get the front end done, the glanza headlights i have are damaged and got broken clips but they just about work. All i needed to do the glanza front end swap was the bonnet. Luckily for me a guy i know had one mega cheap, but it was plastidipped grey and had a hole for a screamer pipe in it. I shouldve waited for a better bonnet to come up for sale but i just couldnt wait so i swapped it all over. I also got my new toyo proxes t1r's fitted to the front wheels.
  6. Thanks mate. Ye bit of a difference compared to the chavvy machine it was when I bought it. Hopefully the full transformation into glanza exterior gets finished soon
  7. This one will definitely be finished. The low mileage and economy of it compared to my lexus is200 makes it worth it. Plus I don't have a choice as the lexus needs a new heart. This'll be getting a nice n/a glanza rep. Once that's done the lexus gets sorted. Once the lexus us sorted the glanza rep can get a 4 or 5 efte
  8. Cool man. You received it yet? Sorry about the ninja wrapping.
  9. Also got the clocks waiting at home for me too. unfortunately this all has to wait until the weekend before i can take a look at it all. really want to get my front end done but i need the bonnet
  10. My new number plate recess waiting at home for me
  11. All sounds good mate. Quick work too.
  12. Sweet! This will be getting done at the weekend then.
  13. I'm not sure if my original wiring will be the same as the original wiring in that guide. Apart from that it doesn't look too difficult.
  14. I know it can be done I just don't trust myself with electors. I tried to fit a folding mirror mod to my lexus and ended up stopping my windows from working and my central locking went mental. Lol
  15. Have you done this yourself? I'm not sure if I trust myself enough to do it without an idiots guide
  16. ha ok, so i found another front bumper thats already in red but a 96 spec so i've got that bought so i ve sold the above bumper on already to fund it. Glanza headlights purchased, but the housing is damaged and some of the clip mounts are broken (plastic weld i think) Number plate recess in black purchased awaiting delivery SR clocks purchased awaiting delivery (plug and play on a 98 sportif or do i need to fuck it up?) Found some side skirts in black that i may be collecting sunday. so now i just need to get a glanza bonnet. and pay somebody to prep and paint all my parts
  17. well if you can keep the cost down then do it mate. fair play to you for not wanting to give up on it
  18. i can see what you mean now mate. you're going to make a big loss regardless. i'd break it if i was you to get your money back from it. or sell it mega cheap in the hope that somebody is willing to put the money and work in and can save it. It's always horrible to see other cars (especially sr's) broken or scrapped. I've had to scrap 2 sr's myself.
