cheers guysnot too sure bout the cynos mite go 5e-fte/5e-fhte it will require a lot of work to do the n/a 5e-fhe build and 150-160bhp is the max id get out of it ive had gearbox problems with my last 4e-fte turbo cynos and the prevoius owner in limerick got some ape (preformance crash repairs) to do the conversion and made a dogs dinner of the wiring loom so tink im gonna do it myself ive a mate who is big into his toyotas and is well known across ireland so mite get him to do the work

cheers pierros great info there id go turbo again but would the standard 1.5 cynos/paseo gearbox match up to the 4e-fte engine

cheers ste 150 is what ill have to go for dont want to turbo it because had a 97 paseo with 4e-fte in it and previous owner did wiring loom all wrong and gearbox gave trouble so jus wanna build n/a. seen a blog recently where a guy had a 200bhp 5e-fhe n/a ina glanza

wel guys im hoping to buy a jap import cynos soon the model with the 5e-fhe engine which is 115bhp as standard im hoping to tune up this engine without turboing it hoping around the 200bhp mark is it possible or how much would i be looking at????? gonna do everything internals,ecu.....etc what parts are the best to buy?? cheers!!

hey guys its eoin here or better known as stapes im from ballnasloe in galway ireland ive had quite a few cynos's/paseos over the years 5 to be honest 1 was a 4e-fte paseo ;) and enjoy their relibality i drive a 96 paseo as my every day car but hope to get a 1.5 cynos jap import soon the beta model with the 5e-fhe hi-torque engine and tune up the engine
