LOL i fit sound systems for a living and my favourite school boy error is trying to find ignition feeds on heather controls on newer can-bus cars. I.e it only comes on when the blowers are on etc lol. I may have done it a few times :/

Remove the hose pipe and buy an oil breather filter. The blue hose off the PCV valve put onto the inlet wer that orange bit is blocked off. Remove that yellow hook (keep it though can come in handy if/when removing engine) Respray the cam cover black and the yellow bits black too .........

That foot one is savage! neerly puked. nothing against ya feet lol just in general. Friend of mine was doing a hydraulic fitting on a 20 odd ton Digger and Hydraulic fluid came out at his face.... Pic:
