Mine came second hand. No instructions. I think tgtt had a diagram..... not sure. But one will be ground and the other 12v lighting circuit.

Is that the 4th July? I will probably be going, but its not a definate. Mine is behind the clocks down the back and is around the area below the steering wheel, so its out of sight. No Idea why its on top of the dash.....

If you didn't live so far you could pop over (well you're only 40mins away) and i could take a look at it for you and compare it against mine. Me and N80Jamie are putting my car back to my EWG setup tonight from about 8 (weather depending).. But Yes, that little black box is the transformer thingy.

Its been known for the little transformer pack to blow, which IIRC cannot be changed. I wired my own in. Are they deffo connected tightly to the plugs at the midway point on the wires?? Are the wires further down attached properly to the relevant 12v Lighting Switch and is the dimmer pad still there?

I fitted my own in about 1 hour. If u can follow a diagram and can solder a bit its worth the saving of 75notes. Although if u install it yourself on a second hand unit then you can't boost until mapped. Id offer my services as I'm 30mins off the M6.... but it'll add to your journey. However td did my tuning...... great guys!
