  1. Yeah it was a custom job, im gunna go full cage when i take it of the road.
  2. Hi all, just an update on my ride, i had a half cage installed, & i had it boosted[20psi]& retuned & new paddle button clutch, it made 228HP or 170 kilowatts @ the wheels. I took it to a trackday last week & i got 6th fastest laptime out of 36cars. Go to www.natsoft.com.au/results. The track was Lakeside the date 21/07/2011. The quickest on the day was a 360kilowatt @ the wheel Evo. 4secs faster than me. Heres a pic also from the track day.
  3. I just read thru ya thread mate, nice work, i have got my GT down to 800kilos at the minute. When i done the sound deadning on my GT i got some Dry Ice & placed it on the spot to be removed & then a couple of minutes later bamm you hit it with a hammer & chisel it slides right of cause it is frozen solid. I also removed my aircon compressor & all other related pipes & crap, also i removed the big heater box on the passengers side & heater hoses that go to the engine, that alone saved me about 15kg, i also went & got a half sized aluminium radiator ASI brand, ebay sp
  4. Thanks for all the replys, i dont have heaters & therefore any hoses to worry about, when fitting this thing up. My GT is making 205hp @ the wheels on 14psi. It has forge rod & piston, & ported head, block was bored 20 thou over, with 400cc injectors, the cams are 272s & i will be puting a Speed Vision camgear on soon & a retune, my limiter is set on 7500rpm, its running a 330hp Garret GT25/60r. The GT is mainly used for circuit sprints, the Lakeside track has a average speed of 160, so low down response wont bother me to much, cause the corners are taken @ 85-100kmh. Dant
  5. Hi all, i have been on the racetech site & ive been thinking about purchasing a intake mani.At the minute i just have the standard 82 mani which has been port matched. Im just wondering if anybody has done, before & after dyno testing if so how much more power did you make? They look good but do they perform? Thanks in advance.
  6. If you go around a corner & nail it on the exit & the inside wheel spins its open wheel diff, if it doesnt spin & it just grips its LSD. The way i check is i reverse the car @ about 40kmh & then clutch it while still rolling, & then select first gear while still rolling back & rev it to 4-5000rpm & then drop the clutch, if both wheels spin its LSD. Also most LSD cars will clunk a little while turning slow & hard.I feel like goin out & doin a roll back in the GT now.
  7. I wish this was in Brisbane so i can drool all over it. Awesome quality work, you certainly havent cut any corners with this build. You could enter it in the [ROC] Race of Champions, it wouldnt be out of place. You have inspired me to buy a welder.
  8. 800kg @ the moment, im gunna take more out eventually.
  9. Thanks mate, yeah it loves the twisties.
  10. Yeah i got a good deal on the cooler a while ago, its 600X300x76.Goes alright, but i would like more power, as we all do.
  11. Here is my other ride Suzuki SV 650.
  12. Never owned a computer & couldnt be bothered using 1, so i never joined any clubs untill this year, im also on the austarletclub.com.Pics are up now of the GT, i put them in the members ride thread.
