Is that normal? Also the little disc kinda thing with numbers on, What is that suppost to be set too??? 5. Hey all, Just about to go tighten my c/h head down, Just wanted to no, Do i have to rotate my bottom pulley round so that the pistons are top dead center? Another words rotate the bottom pulley so that the grooves on the pulley match up with the triangle on the oil pump casing...? OR Do i leave the pulley and pistons were they are from when i took the old head off? I turned the bottom pulley to get the cams timed up before i took the head off? So therfore it should be okay to put the head back on and the cams back in the same way i took them out? Hope you can all understand this ha Thank

  7. Yo guys, Got my head bolts from toyota and my torque wrench, Just wondered how your meant to tighten them down, I no its 22nm then 44nm then a 90* turn? Think thats correct? But do you just turn the bolts in the correct order to 22nm leave them to 'stretch' then to 44nm to 'strech' some more, then 90*? Thanks for any help given P
  8. Firstly hey all! I've been thinking long and hard about this but just wanted other peoples thoughts. Firstly, I would get the standard internal wastegate welded shut on the ct9? (anybody no were or who could do this for me would be a big help too!) Next replace the manifold i have now, for an external wastegate manifold (zisco) then buy a wastegate obviously. What else would i need to do, or would the above work, and completely remove boost creep issue's and run without a problem? I also thought i could buy a hks adjustable actuator & ebc, and eventually up the boost to say around or
  9. from what i can see tho there is only 1 big dimple i cant seem to find the 2 littler ones? How & were do/is the exhaust gear? Sorry for the nub comments just i'm trying to do it all myself and just wanna make sure i do it right... Phil
  10. Hey everybody. Quick question is, i need to take the cams out before i remove the head bolts and head, Now... How do i set the cams to neutral timing? So i no when the new head goes on i can just put the new cams in and the timing should be okay? Ive been told that there is a dimple on both scissor gears on the end of the cams? So far i can only find one dimple? Anybody else had any experience on how to do it? Thanks alot, Phil
