Going to be using an Apexi power intake filter soon so it has a 76mm inlet. Would a 45>51 90 degree silicone pipe to a 51mm aluminium hose joiner to a 51>76 90 degree silicone pipe work ok? The leg length of the 2 silicone pipes are 150mm on each leg and I'll put links to the pipes below.
If these are ok then the total price would be £29.09 which is pretty decent.

fiesta zetec s diesel does really good mpg and are pretty decent once mapped.

Spot on thanks very much

Ok thanks for all the replies put my mind at ease a bit, think i'll still take it easy until I get it checked though to be safe. Yeah alot more action over here plus I'm from the UK anyway so makes sense.

Going to order some pipes to relocate air filter to the front of the radiator. Just wondering what size the turbo inlet is so I can find silicone and aluminium 90 degree bends for my filter on ebay.

The other nut hasn't moved I don't think but yeah should possibly get it checked to make sure. Would a gas tester at an MOT station give me a rough idea with the reading or not? If it was detonating due to lack of fuel would the engine management light come on or what symptoms would there be? Paranoid now even though the car drives just the same lol.

There seems to be a lack of replies on tgtt these days so I think I'll be posting on here from now on.
Got a rrfpr fitted to my car and was all setup for correct afr but today whilst under the bonnet I checked the nut at the top and it was loose. There is a normal nut close to the body of the rrfpr and a kinda rounded style one on the top of that (which was the loose one) I think this is just the locking one? So i just tightened it down to the normal nut to stop it moving. Will it be ok or will I need to get it checked as I don't think there are any garages near me that check afr's.

Not sure if there the same or not? Maybe somebody could confirm? Are they the same style as the ones pictured?

How do the inner bearing come out though? Do they need pressed out?

Looking for a drivers seat from my ep82. Removing and selling my OMP design 2 seats (In the for sale section) and putting in standard seats + belts. Already have a good condition passengers seat so need a drivers seat and both front seatbelts if anyone has any of the following give me a price on them please. Seat must look like these.
-
Ok no bother thanks for the help though. If you get recaro's sold and want OMP's then there going cheap.
-
how much for drivers seat? are the discs and pads new?
-
There OMP design 2's on omp rails and cobra 3-point harnesses was just gonna take them out and sell them as I have a baby now and there not very practical lol. What do the recaro's looks like?
-
Changing my omp seats for a set of standard seats, will a set of MK1 GT seats fit my MK3 GT ok? Just thought I better check before I get them. Thanks in advance

Usually use camskill but prices aren't as good as they have been in the past.
Yeah I've got T1R's on the back and not had any scary broadside moments yet so grip is good on them and have been on the back for about 12k miles and still 6mm left on them lol. Just a bit worried about what they would wear like on the front. Budget is 100 fitted balanced and tracked (fitting balancing and tracking costs me about 15 quid)

Due to the state of the roads where I live, my front passenger tyre has a nice bulge in the sidewall and is now spreading to the tread area so needs changed this week and will be changed from the current 195/45/15 to a 50 profile. The tyre will be binned but the drivers side still has 3.5mm so I'll keep it for a spare. Anyway what i'm saying is I need 2 new front tyres and need help picking the best ones. My current ones are budget nankang ns2 and handle pretty good in the dry but crap in the wet although they wear very well. The qualities I need from the tyres listed most important first are:-
1. Wear
2. Grip
3. Price
4. Looks
5. Brand
The tyres I have seen are listed below with prices for 2 delivered beside them:-
Toyo Proxes 4 - Demontweeks (£85.46)
- rotationuk.com (£78.61)
Uniroyal Rainsport 2 - Ears Motorsport (£79.20)
- allnewtyres.co.uk (£78.20)
- ebay (£77.50)
Toyo Proxes T1R - Demontweeks (£89.32)
- Black Circles (£85.32)
Barum Bravuris 2 - allnewtyres.co.uk (£75)
Firestone TZ200 - rotationuk.com (£73.13)
Firestone SZ80 - rotationuk.com (£74.43)
Kumho Ecsta KU31 - rotationuk.com (£76.85)
If anyone can give me information (mainly about wear and grip) on any of these or recommend any other then that would be great thanks.

58.954 that's getting close to the limit for me, maybe shave 2-3 hundredths off later. Are the guys doing low 58's and the 57's using a wheel? What setup is everyone using? MIne is:-
Fully Tuned (250BHP)
Suspension
Camber Front - 2.5 / Camber Rear - 1.2
Toe Front - -0.25 / Toe Rear - +0.11
Drop Front - 22 / Drop Rear - 20
Spring Rate Front - 8.5 / Spring Rate Rear - 5.5
Damper Comp Front 7 / Damper Comp Rear 6 (NOT SURE OF THE ORDER OF THESE 2)
Damper Ext Front 6 / Damper Ext Rear 5 (NOT SURE OF THE ORDER OF THESE 2)
ARB Front 6 / ARB Rear 6
Gearbox
Fully Customisable with top speed turned down to 118
LSD
Initial Torque - 25
Acceleration - 45
Braking - 10
Brakes
Front - 6 / Rear - 7
Aerodynamics
Downforce - 5
All driving aids are off (as with any car) except ABS which is set at 2, maybe I could use better settings with the LSD so that I could turn off ABS?
-
make that 59.022 and thats on a controller not a wheel.
-
Just found this thread, my best time is 59.247 but need to fit an LSD to stop wheelspin and close ratio box for better acceleration I think. Will post picture up tomorrow if needed.
Customs Charges
in Off Topic

Getting a new manifold from either wepr or zisco (as I need a top quality one) but need to know if you get charged from customs for them or not? Heard very good things about both of them also, but does anyone have any bad stories about them? Thanks
