Im about to port my wastegate ive sprayed some paint on so i no where to grind but were the flap meets the waste gate it isnt in the same all the way round (off centre) if you get me! Does the hole have to be a perfect circle??

personly id take the hole kit off so your not messin round with the four under the mani and make sure u use new gaskets !! -

Hiya mate im having a problem with mine at the minute im using 74 mm wisco i dont no wether its me but its sound like there is alot of piston slap. Hows urs when its up 2 temp ?? and also what miles r u doing to run it in ??

tolerances were 0.214 and 0.211, what do u mean by ring gaps top and bottom? how do u want me measure them ? cheers

I have just got my car back in pices after forging it my chlinders are standard 74mm i got scat con rods and 74 mm wisco pistons and the piston slap that i was getting was herendous can any 1 give me any advice because i cant afford another set of pistons and its lookin like i mite have to go back standard =( help needed plz !

make your self a boost leak tester screw it onto the inlet of your turbo then just use a tyre gauge then but wat ever pressure your running into the tester then just listen for your leaks

nar guys its deffo not the cables its asif yano when your clutch is fucked and u cant clear any of the gears its like that but the clutch is fine its a really funny 1 which is wreckin ma head lol

when the cars running its fine when its off clears them all sweet just wen its running

rite just had an engine rebuild, light weight flywheel and trd clutch went back on perfect got the car up and running and it was fine but last nite and the smorning struggled gettin any gear. i carnt see what it could be i put fresh oil in it and i even tryed adjusting it on the pedal but that never helped has anyone got any help for me as im gettin pissed rite off with it now!!!!!

basicelly ive just got my engine bak but cudnt aford the oil pump is this a no no or do u think ill be ok running it for a week or so before i get a new 1 ???

Iya mate i had the saame problem after fitting my mani but i never changed the gaskets so i changed them and it was still boosting less than it was with the standard mani i didnt no that u had to adjust to actuator! =( ill try that once ive run her in lol cheers guys! -

yea checked my pressure of all four cylinders 1 3 4 got to 150 psi number to was 90 gutted i new i shuda put that mani back on =( FORGED it is lol

Just been giving my car a good spanking, let it cool down properly had a pint and now it sounds like a subaru any ideas any 1 i thik ive ither burnt a valve or done a piston going to do a pressure test tmorrow but still any ideas ?????
