Went to shortys last night with jarrod to pick up my dastek piggy back, the original plan was to run a ms3 standalone, but for what I want. the dastek will do the job for now, I will still be over hauling the loom and taking what I don't need off. Can always update to a standalone once the cars on the road so not to fussed. Also painted my hubs up, just need to wet and dry the faces then they are ready to go on the car when I get to that point, yesterday my shell was supposed to off been seam welded but unfortunately the welding supplier ran out off gas so this will be happening weekend com
-
swear you only said the other day you bough brads turbo, now its on haha dont hang about mate, shame about the mani tho
-
yeah thinners works well, but i used wire wheel comes straight off no messing around.. today finsihed the hubs off, cleaned em up ready for paint and balacned them both. finished all the interior ready for seam welding tomorrow, took ages but has to be done forgot to take picture off it finished, but there be plenty tomorrow, only thing left is engine bay but need another wire wheel so once i have this ill do the engine bay then seam weld that, then its time to start on the cage
-
had the day off today, so cracked on with the shell, started with getting all the seams ready for when we seam weld it on saturday hopefully, took ages and only got half way as the wire wheel i was using got destroyed in the process so ill carry this on tomorrow and finish it off. got 90% off the front done, heres a few pics just got the rear left and the engine bay, also got on with some work on my hubs, they weigh in at about 5.4kgs each, so i reduced this down to a rough 5kg, so thats just under another 1kg off weight gone. before and after once id worked on it

Cheers mate, the picture dosnt do the kit any justice it's is incredible, for anyone thinking about a turbo kit, go to zisco! nothing comes close to their gear. ha thanks bud means alot!
-
Tyron - haha yeah mate this is a proper slag, yeah mate manifold is proper work off art... Lugzy - cheers mate, yeah loom is heavy loads off weight to shed, got few more bits ill be cutting out soon to get rid off abit more, trying to get it as light as possible because the seam welding and cage will add alot off weight in. Once she's together will be going straight on a weigh bridge see what it stands at The kit together in one piece, manifold is getting ceramic coated so will look incredible.
