I got my GT seats into my EP91, sooooooo much better, lower seating position, better hold around corners, only slight modification of the bolt point near the hatch/fuel levers required.

Do they sit lower than the standard EP91 seats and are they comfy and hold you better?

Mate that looks very tidy, looking forward to the updates.

Hi all, the topic has been covered in the sticky for the turbo models, but I can't find anything on the N/A model. In OZ the Starlet Life puts out 55kw, where as the Glanza S puts out 63kw, can you swap the ECU from a Glanza S into a normal Starlet? I will also swap the intake manifold as well.

So over the pas month I've got a few bits done. I fitted a new bosch battery, a Race work developments battery tie down and oil cap and polished up the rocker cover. I also fitted some 10mm spacers on the front to give it a little bit more poke. I also bought a false floor from Bradley Jenkins Jap Performance featured Glanza, so I wrapped it all in suede to match the door cards and got that fitted in and I got some pics of the raptor line on the sills. Pics..
Mate do you have a link to where you bought the false floor from, outstanding job.

But don't forget how much fun they are through the corners!!

Not much but soon as Corolla/Glanza S inlet manifold painted and also fitting Glanza S exhaust manifold as its a 4-2-1.
Will also check at this time if mine has a knock sensor.
Advanced the timing by 4 degrees, reset ECU and using Shell98. Good increase in torque, so i'm happy.
Will do the same after fitting manifolds.
I also advanced the timing and run 95 and ECU reset, it does offer some small gains, it feels more pokey now. Next week I get some headers and a full exhaust.

Changing the mileage is easy, 4 screws on the back, and 2 small at the front, in and out.

Getting a bit sick of the chrome wooden wheel that I salvaged from the paseo 2 years ago... So, in respect to not get the rice look, this happened.
Other than that, things are moving slowly, gathering a few parts for the head/piston job to come. Getting antsy to fit that front mount though
Mate I like that wheel, you on the Starlet owners Australia FB page?

So why didn't you like the Rolla mani mod, what was the problem? I am thinking about doing this to mine.

How about the EP82 disc rear end into an EP91, what needs to be done?

Great build mate, can you give a snapshot of motor mods for us NA guys, and the difference they made.

Disc rear end question
Hi all,
Just a quick one, I put an EP82 GT disc rear end into my EP91, whilst it was pretty straight forward to get in, I am now being told that my rear discs are not really working because the brake bias valve thingy is different when you go from drum rear end to disc.
Has anyone else encountered this and what was the fix?
Or can you elaborate what is happening.

Hi all,
I bought some Tein springs and it's the first time I have used these, they have come with some brown plastic on them, does this stay on or do I remove it?
Pete

Thanks mate. If I had some more cash there is a white Starlet in town with only 15k on the clock for sale. Even better to start with
I bought that one and playing with it now

Great little thread you have going on, keep up the good work

More progress, I now have a disc rear end in, wheels on, calipers and rear sway bar painted ready to go on tomorrow, if my panhard rod turns up. And yes sleepers are good if you have power, which I don't!!!
Needs more low, which I hope will be done tomorrow with the Tein springs.

I'm hoping to get my Tein springs in this weekend, if the ride height is as the same as the red daily above I will be happy. Are they lowered 50mm rear and 57mm front?
Have you got a Panhard rod installed as well?
