hey guys since my gt is giving me hell and empty pocket from replacement parts lol (and i haven't driven it for about a year cause of it). I'm looking for a replacement something N/A and JDM of course and light tune or stock around my birthday which is in february. ive been looking for ae86's, 180sx, altezza's but i cant seem to find one, can you guys put a list up on here of other N/A JDM's and or places i can find them.

Is your rear brakes working? I know it sounds stupid, but if the auto-adjusting/winding mechanism in the caliper is not working, then there would be no handbrake...

they work on the foot pedal otherwise the mechanism on the caliper doesnt move

im geting to that point with mine. i haven't driven it all year cause ive been spending what ever money i have to fix issues it gets me thinking whats the point in all this but i know im going to miss it but the same time im hungry for something else

Hand brake cable are totaly different between drums and disks, so this is not the case here.

There is a screw in the side of the hand brake level. Have tou adjusted this?

Also, the short cable from the level to the junction thingy that the actual cables are mounted is in good condition?

brand new mate i changed the whole lot the screw is turned all the way in but its still not reacting thats why i put this thread up

Also matey! I found with my disc brakes that when I popped the new handbrake cables on and adjusted the nut on the handbrake lever inside the car, and then looked at the callipers again it had pulled a little lever round on the back of the calliper!! And this made the handbrake pretty much unresponsive.

mine it not moving at all

Did you buy ones ment for rear drum brakes ?

I know they are different but i dont know if this could be your issue ?

yeah they were slightly shorter than the ones i took off. (by the way the ones i fitted are brand new)

hey guy i just fitted a brand new set of hand brake cables and i've adjusted it at the hand brake and used up all the thread but its still slack any help you can give in this matter would be greatly appreciated as im stuck lol.
