I dont like taking my car anywhere unless i have to. I only have one local mechanic i can trust.

Thats why I do as much as i can myself even though it takes me ages.lol.

    Never a truer word said!

Hope everyone above gets there issues sorted and your cars soon 🖒

  3. As above research is key when it comes dowm to forging .....

    Piggyback ecu

    Mapping

    Uprated clutch

    Exhaust system

Thats just a few items that will be beneficial if you forge 🖒

  4. They fit fine in a starlet but if you cut and weld starlet feet on the ignis rails your find it to a very high seating position.

From memory other people have fitted starlet recaro rails to them to get best position

  5. I looked at NS2Rs but at £120+ a side in my size i couldnt do it 😂ive decided to stick with what i know on this car a good allrounder the pirelli

It was the wear rate on the rainsports that pushed me away

  6. To be totally honest im put off the toyos as they are cheap and ive not overly heard good things about them!

Rainsports are very tempting what are they like in the dry compared to others?

    the piolet 4's are £106 a corner :o the others are £80-85

My current pirellis have lasted 2 years ( were on the car when purchased ) and ive only replaced one tire due to tracking wear!

  8. Honestly id stay away from a glanza until you have your new home sorted ..... ive been saving for a glanza since i got my first home 18months ago and honestly i have £0 in the glanza fund 😂 everytime i get some, house bills or renovations crop up that are more important.

And coming from the lovely glanza you had before your not going to be happy until its better than the first! I love starlets in general but 90% of people will say there money pits :( so easy to modify and parts readily available doesn't help.

This is only my thoughts but having splashed 22k on a house deposit and fees id rather spend any spare money bettering the property's value than spend thousands on modifing a glanza ...... once the house is right its game on though 😆👍
