  1. im really strugglin to understand how its a write off for the sake of a WING.

i would have shown her wing prices on ebay then bought 1 off here and kept the difference. silly man

I think its to do with the market value of the vehicle and how much it cost a garage to fix it. I nearly had a right off with mine when an idiot decided to come onto my side of the road on a bend. To avoid him i went to his side but he hit the back door and rear wing passengers side. Scared the crap out of the mrs as it was her side as he also twatted the door mirror into the window(lucky they fold). I aslo has a crap corsa as a curtisee car too. Bag of poo that was.

  2. Thats one thing i`m bemused by , Why take the rear wiper off? as its there so you can see whos about to overtake you when its raining or you got a dirty window. Admitted mine still doesnt work properly but at least it works on intermittent sweep.

  3. I just got myself a new Pioneer head unit and lead from the Halfords website. Reserved them both. Strangly enuf the head unit i got is brand new release too. Same as my Sony was before which i now got spare. And i found out i didnt need the extra lead like the site said as there was one in the box. So i took the lead back got my money back. So you do need to check if it really needs a lead, like mine didnt. lol. So i now got a full Pioneer system too which sounds lovely

  4. On both my N/As the red bit would just get stuck down when the clip was put in, had to take the clip out n in again a few times then it would lock....sprayed some wd40 in it n it was grand

Did that Wd40 bit on mine too. All works lovely now since i did it.

  5. You do indeed have to take the stereo surround off then remove the bracket which your stereo is fixed to and screw it to that. Then reassemble it all and put the surround back on. Thats how i did mine anyways. Took about half hour at most.
