on mine there's somthing in the way to the right hand side i tube shaped thing with a bolt on top? same as yours?

haha! i will give then the scary eyes then and noo not yet it's missfiring and smoking realy badley i need someone to help me because i dont want to be wasting money on gasket set's and valve stem seal's if it's not that ''/ what could it be?

I have a BIG problem with the engine , its smoking so bad its like there is a smoke grenade stuck up the exhaust! i was told valve stem seals maybe..?

Looks like i will be sticking to my glanza rep then for a few years

haha I have gone to another level with stripping it out mate , all sound proofing has gone carpets , all plastic's roof lining! the door pannel's will be off soon when i get some ply one's made or fibre glass ones

Thanks for the responese! My sr is totally stripped inside anyway i bought it standerd and no it's basically a glanza just without the boost will it still be nippy then .. ?

I just carnt wait to drive it it's a right pain it being on drive and not being about to drive it! all i need for the outside of it to be finished is bloody headlight's , im picking some rota grids up wednesday and there getting sprayed baby blue I JUST WANT BOOST!

Well i have an sr but have put all glanza bodykit on it but done nothing to the engine at all (1.3 n/a) so shall i keep it as that for a while .. ?

Thats very helpfull mate thank's for that , so i am best off just running an N/A for a few years? i just put another post up about I-Cube insurance and if that would make a great deal of diffrence in bringing the price down? Andy

Does anybody no i i would be able to put a glanza engine in my sr and be able to insure it with the I-cube insurance .. ? Im 18 and havent passed my test yet ( be about 2-3 months untill i pass ). Thanks andy

I never get chance to see! i think the back bumper has been cut for the exhaust to fot though! if that help's?

I know it's sounds stupid but if i put a lower class starlet engine in it will that bring the insurance down .. ? andyy

Not anytime soon but im wanting to put a Glanza engine in my Starlet sr , just wanted to no of a rough price would be to buy an engine and everything that i would need so i could work out some price's. Plus i havent passed my test yet ( i will have in a couple of month ) im just wundering what sort of insurance qoates i should be getting for a Starlet sr? Thanks andy.

its on but we havent done the wiring its solid! hardest bit was lining the bootlid up its still abit off now need to go do it later , all i need is headlights + alloys + lowering springs and its all done!

I will get that battery of you ed if your wanting rid of it .. ?
