  1. Nice one
  2. Ohh ermmm you might be able to use screws not sure how you would get around the skirt to fit them in though If it was mine I would find some alternative clips that fit in the gap on the skirts I think that may be easier option up to you buddy if you have a good plan to use screws go for it Good luck though let us know how you get on
  3. Youd be better buying lowering springs only £70 on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Sports-Lowering-Spri...=item483d45e822 Not worth the risk bud
  4. Yupp drill holes aligned with the clips on the skirts and there will also be a few screws needed at both ends at the wheel arch. Make sure your drilling in the right area though bud you dont want any unwanted holes also pay extra attention to the 2nd from right clip on both sides I found it a bit odd compared to the others just some personal advise you may not have the same problem. Good luck
  5. Ooh and welcome along dude !!

  14. Hi guys just joined my names Joe (i actually joined last week, it took a week to be validated lol) thought I would introduce myself I have a 1997 starlet N/A which I am currently forming into a glanza replica have been on the toyotagtturbo for a while and thought I would join in the action on here I have posted my progress in the members rides section heres a link http://www.ukstarletclub.com/forums/index....showtopic=43719 Thankyou people !
  15. Ok so I thought I would upload the progression of forming my Glanza replica from my 1997 Starlet CD. Hope you enjoy ! Now allow me to introduce you (I didnt actually take any photos until I fitted a glanza bumper so I've stolen some from auto trader to give you an idea.) Maybe Ill help promote the guys sale lol Here's the real deal with fitted clear indicators, glanza bumper and a welded 3" exhaust tip until I get a exhaust system. Couldn't stand having a pea shooter with that bumper My next task was to get rid of those 13" diddy wheels and get some chunky alloys, I originally wanted to get some kind of white alloys but come across this set of black tsw wheels with the tyres for £80! Snatched them was well impressed and will do for now Fitted Next job was to remove those bump protector strips which took about 6 hours to get rid of the glue on both sides without scratching the paint Felt good to get rid of them though. The glue. 3 hours later left side finished Both sides finished well happy with the outcome Painted brake drums. My bootlid conversion lol Fitted the bootlid and finally got round to fitting the skirts which have been sitting around the factory for about a month lol I brought some of these stickers for me wheels of ebay for £2 which looked awesome. Until they peeled off I guess thats what you get for £2 though lol Front bumper came was well excited I cant stand the original N/A bumper Wasn't happy when I found out that the bumper fitting is different to the standard one leaving me with a beautiful gap between the lights and the bumper and also having to remove the grill in order to be able to shut the bonnet  ordered some glanza headlights from toyota but struggling to find a bonnet looks a right mess with the number plate cut out for fmic etc cant wait to sort it all out Finally got me a spoiler on the bright side The mut sneeking in and modelling for some shots :haha: And thats how she stands and allot more to come. All comments && opinions welcome
