Yeah haha think the best thing i can do is test drive the ep3 and mk5 and see what I prefer. I know what the starlet drives like so see how the others fair

True yeah had an ep82 with a ct9 hybrid loved it. Could see myself in a another one dont think the other half would haha.

Been a while since I've been on here. Spent a few years away from a starlet now owned an astra vxr for a few years now which I have decided to sell. I'm tempted to get anothet starlet my previous was a mk2 ep82 but I am tempted by a varis kit glanza. Other cars I've considered are an ep3 type r or a mk5 golf gti what are peoples thoughts?

Description: After many times of me saying I will finish it one day I think its finally time to realise I won't and sell my EP82 project

I took it off the road around 2 1/2 years ago after I had a minor accident which went unrecorded caused damage to the front O/S wing bumper and bonnet. I did start to collect parts to rebuild it and slowly make the car better but that’s about as far as it went.

As stated in the title this car is a project and currently sits on my drive in bits and pieces but mostly together.

I have listed the current spec of the car below in this includes parts I have collected overtime which haven't been fitted which I will list.

Greddy Rear Strut Brace

Rota Grid on Yokohama tyres however these have been sitting for 2 years so tyres will most likely need replacing

TD Front brake kit probably will need new parts however

Blitz Turbo Timer

TC Short Shifter with Nylon white gear knob

Heko Wind Deflectors

Windows have been tinted but are peeling off so will need either removing or redoing

Adjustable actuator/External Wastegate depending on the route you go.

Front Bumper

Bonnet maybe but the current one could be salvaged

New Windscreen as its cracked

Panel repair behind headlight

New brake pads on front

Disc and pads on the rear

New handbrake cables

Rebuild rear calipers as they stick

Possibly new set of tyres

Good update mate conversions like this will take their time and will naturally bring up issues the smaller issues are normally the most annoying haha will be awesome to see when its done.

I have the Zisco version of the exhaust it sounds epic

I would prob go for the evo myself if it was me but best thing to do would be to test drive one and see how you like it.

Mine is a 1.3 on the log book mate and like you say 2 rotors at 660 so a 1.3 in reality. I think its just insurance companies that clas them as 2.7 for some starnge reason. :S

Evo look the balls mate! Was cosidering getting one before i bought the glanza.

Technically that's correct the cc does total to a 1.3 but its the power output that they produce is why insurance companies rate them to 2.6

I used to do alot of carp fishing with ledgers and method feeders when I was younger was awesome just don't get the time to do it anymore. Best fun used to be fishing for carp off the top surface

Have always wanted to do something with the performance side of cars race engine building would be the dream for me but i left school went to college for a year doing mechanical engineering then got a job at a local AV distributor started as the post boy and have worked my way up to the purchasing department which I do enjoy but if I had the chance i would love to go into building engines

Seems to be alot of rs's at the moment could be a ring of people as others have said bloody scumbags

As above anyone have a ct9 manifold to suit a hybrid?

I would say the rollers maybe if it was remapped I would expect power to be about 190 ish and torque around 300

WMS on here do some good kits as well
