it has a remus mate which is welded onto n/a rather than tte hangers, looking for around £70 + postage, i paid £115 from someone on here back in june. it's identical to the tte soundwise and performance wise as the tte was produced by remus (don't think it adds any performance lol) but has a nice little rumble and is silent until 3k revs. starting breaking the car wednesday, so everyone let me know if there's anything you need.

hmm 46k i'm tempted -
ever since i've owned the sr, i've been thinking 'Project Slammon' have you ever seen a stanced salmon pink starlet with coated rubstrips on meister r's and wedsports i think not thanks a bunch mate, i saw the link before but couldn't find it again how much do you think that would be worth a haggle to?
-
Trying to look at the upsides of no longer having an sr. I wanted to keep as her standard as possible and limited me to what I wanted to do to her. Now she's no longer with me i've been debating a salmon pink n/a but not had any luck searching for one.

i have a ticket and stand pass if wanted

fancy a road trip to birmingham i might be behind the wheels of YOU GUESSED IT, a clio tomorrow
-
morgey has already enquired on the passenger door, so you would get second dibs. i'm not sure how i would go about posting such an item though? i don't suppose you would know how to remove the throttle body, it's just i've never stripped a car down before, and this would be a learning curve for me. just feels like i'm going across the country to meet a vampire haha something weird is telling me to make a salmon pink sr :/

i'm in the middle of two minds. i've messaged the mr 'VAPINDER SINGH' - sounds like someone from fonejacker and he sent me pictures of the car. The rear is missing the badge and judging by the sprayed rub strips and door handle and skirts, am not sure about the 'old lady owner' it's just although the mileage is genuine, birmingham is the other side of the country. i've checked the history of the car and all seems genuine signs of age but is it me or is it strange for a tte backbox to corrode after 40k miles? i'm also debating on hill bill's wrc replica. i've always wanted a remix front and

thank you man, and i have no other option, the a pillar is crushed by about 8 inches, so with the money that would go into fixing it, the car would never be the same and i could just buy another sr with the money

thanks again everyone, i've now got a breaking thread up here. http://www.ukstarlet...=0 I'm going to see a 2001 Clio a friend is selling for £500 tomorrow as he's just gone all motorbike. It's the last car I would probably want, but with a genuine 62k, a facelift model and had the gearbox and clutch changed, i'm thinking of buying her and keeping her until november when I get two years no claims and then buy a GT Turbo? I need something that I can get to and from uni in for now and run around in through summer and then with the profit I would make from the car + savings? return to the starle

I paid £40, I think the going rate for these is something like £30-40, so i'd probably be after £35 delivered, I think thats about right? I had the throttle holder from the normal inlet welded on, so you wouldn't have the same problem which most people have to attend to ;) I didn't fit it, but I understand it's a simple job, so I shouldn't have problems taking it off, not exactly like the car is going to be driven again feels weird how we were comparing cars the other week when i came to pic the strut brace and cupholders up Messaged the seller about the black sr and asked for more pict

cried twice yesterday. spent all day looking at cars, and nothing compares did you sell them graphics to morgey or not as i'm going to be needing them for my return
-
can do all them morgey, debating on the parcel shelf, as i might just get a standard n/a and chuck it in there. will get some pictures for you. not sure the best way to post a passenger door, but it's absolutely fine. and josh it has glanza cupholders in the cigarette lighter unit if that's what your on about? although i cut the wire a bit short when fitting them the other week, so they were a little bodged.

my local mechanic is letting me keep it at his for a few weeks to let strip as much as possible, so the engine/gearbox (will have to be removed by someone else) and anything else is for sale. holding out to see if i get another starlet to put the tte spoiler, remus backbox and speedlines and rolla mani (you sold it) onto, but if not they will be up for grabs. doors are fine although i will have to touch up part of the drivers door where it has been forced open due to the broken wing. dials are fine and currently read around 93k would appreciate it if people could give me prices in which to s

Sadly it was more than just a panel, headlight and radiator job. The cost of reparing her and spraying would be the same as buying another starlet so it's gonna be going to land in the sky anything anyone wants before she is scrapped?
-
thanks man, it's cars like yours which inspire me to keep going. think the whole idea of getting an 82 anytime soon has gone out the drain :/ and toff, i'll be back before you know it and it won't be a shabby glanza rep, don't worry about that
-
the whole front exterior of it is f****d in all honesty, although the windscreen and wheels are in one piece. the ideal situation would be find a n/a without mot and tax and sort her out, but she would never be the same, and please amjad

i'm hoping it's just this. lucky thing i've just got a tool kit, so the first i'm gonna do is get the bonnet and bumpers off to asses, but she's was still starting. if she was fixable, i'd cry again but in happiness. just a waiting game. she also had little a bit of a scrape in the rear panel, so that would need a respray too
-
thanks again everybody, gonna get her back from the recovery place tomorrow. the pillar goes a bit like / slightly and the radiator is safe to say, fucked!. didn't have the chance to check underneath. she's probably gonna cost the price of another to fix by the time i source parts and get them sprayed in satin black though. if it was any other car, i wouldn't have cried, but i'll get my local mechanic who does welding to have to a look.

thanks man, that's what everyone's been saying. just as my life gets good, something always happens to me, i'm just seeing it in the light that nothing worse happened. i didn't think i could look at a car and physically scream, then break into tears as it's my hobby, and just like my mum with her chickens, being on here just keeps me going thanks everybody, now i know what it feels like to be shaken up. cheers buddy, and i would have to sold my ticket anyway, which i was buzzing for more than my holiday this year. my new job involves me working Sat/Sun, I was waiting on the hours and hopi

So there I was, driving back to uni after getting a new job and having the perfect week, the best in a very long time. A few hours and 70mph later this happened :'( I indicated to go into the third lane, and did not notice a van was right next to me. That + a combination of braking, swerving and wet roads was enough to smash me into the barrier, across 3 lanes, not sure if hit the back of a lorry or as something sent me flying back again. The metal behind the bumper bent, so I think she's a write off. Luckily no other vehicles were involved and there was no damage to the barrier so insurance
