I bought a rear strut brace from him on Friday afternoon. It was posted Saturday morning and it arrived this morning (Monday)! Very, very well wrapped too! Thanks bud.

  3. Looks really nice! Regarding the Glanza sticker, just make sure it is the 3D type sticker as on the facelifts, as he might have found the prefacelift badge.

Gary kept me up to date with all aspects of the sale and delivered it straight away. Thanks!
  5. Thanks bud. ;) Yep, it was a standard WRC model when I bought it... but it was running around 300BHP when I traded it in for my old Skyline. It had an Aussie decat downpipe, Aussie front pipe, NUR spec CAT back, HKS EVC 5 set at 1.1 bar, HKS SPF Intake and a lagged chargecooler. I wish I hadn't sold it now, lol. ;) I think the Castrol decal look would look great on yours.
  6. Very nice mate. ;) I used to have one of these, but sold it about 3 years ago. ;) They are quite happy running 1.1bar boost, but it's just a case of hoping the ringlands hold out, as some don't seem to like the boost increase. Heres a pic of mine from back in the day: I'll look foward to seeing updates on how yours is going.
  7. Very good craftmanship. You don't happen to know Kristian from Golborne do you?
  8. Hi, I've just noticed that all other Glanza's I have seen on pictures, seem to be coloured black around the windows on the doors, but my '99 model Glanza seems to be body coloured (Like a standard uk spec EP91). Could anybody confirm as to wether this black colouring is painted as standard from the factory, or is it a sticker (Can't think of a better word!) ? Thanks.
  9. I've just ordered a new set myself and it seems they have drastically gone up in price. I think I paid about £107 per headlight.
  10. Thanks. I'll certainly look in to getting a FMIC instead, or may just leave the stock TMIC whilst I'm just going to run a bar. Cheers!
  11. Thanks for the replies chaps. I'm thinking of sticking with the standard TMIC then if it will be fine at 1 bar. Would I see much of an improvement with an ARC TMIC than the standard one at the same boost level, or would that only come in to effect during long runs and after being stationary?
  12. Hi, I'm interested in purchasing an ARC TMIC, as I'm going to be running a bar of boost soon, but was wondering if I will see much improvement over keeping the standard TMIC at a bar of boost? What are the limits of the standard TMIC? Thanks.
  13. Just to let people know if anyone else is in the same situation, you can just swap the electric folding mirrors over with the switch in the dash and they work fine. As long as you have electric adjusting mirrors as standard, they are a straight swap.
  14. Lovely fun cars to drive. I had an R33 GTS-t spec 2 for 2 and a half years which I sold to buy a glanza, as I was running it a few times a week as a toy and running a run about too, so decided to sell up to still get my fix of boost, but on a smaller more economical scale. Mine was running full stage 1 modifications at 330BHP and was lovely to drive. As stated, they sound gorgeous with an aftermarket exhaust and are good fun in the wet, but filling them up begins to become a bit of a chore. Elliot
  15. Hi, Does anybody have any pictures of Glanza's with BBS wheels on please? I'm looking at buying a set, but wanted to see what they look like on a Glanza first. Thanks,
  16. Cool - Don't think ive seen you about yet. Will keep an eye open for you. Hehe, yup thats the place.
  17. Tyron, nope - I don't go to any of the meets in Wigan. Too busy doing other things most of the time. What car do you have, as I work at Middlehurst Nissan and have seen an occassional white Glanza driving past. Craig, seems like there's quite a few knocking around these parts then.
  18. Thanks chaps. Craig, I'm not too far away from Leigh near to Wigan/Bolton. Where abouts are you from? I've seen a silver Glanza knocking about down the East lancs who gave me a wave about a week ago and know of 1 other Glanza which I see occassionally which is white. How many members are from around the north west on here?
  19. Hi, Hope everyone's well! I recently purchased a starlet Glanza V about 2 weeks ago to replace my Skyline R33 GTS-t which I'd had for just over 2 years. The cost of running the Skyline was apparent as soon as I bought it, so I purchased a runabout Astra to use mainly for work and the Skyline for whenever I felt the urge. After 2 years of owning both the astra and Skyline and having to splash out on insurance twice per year aswell as tax and maintanence, I decided to sell the pair and decided to go for a Glanza V due to the fantastic power to weight ratio and better economy than the skyline
  20. Thanks chaps. Mine's a very late '99 model, so maybe they didn't fit them to some of the later cars? I'm going to swap over both mirrors and the switch for retractable units and will post up here with the outcome. Elliot
  21. Hi, ;) Last week I purchased a '99 model Glanza which has electric wing mirrors, but I noticed on some Glanza's that they have electric folding mirrors. If I wanted to convert my mirrors to electric folding, would I just need the mirrors themselves and the mirror controls switch with the retract button on? Would this be a simple case of plug and play, as I would have thought all Glanza's would have the extra wire allready in the connectors regardless of wether or not it was utilised by the parts being fitted? Many thanks. Elliot
