It has a little locating pin that needs to be removed once you seperate the turbo which allows you to rotate it to any point.

haha brave but not a bad idea i suppose. You dont by anychane know if you have to take the oil pump off to get to the crank seal or just the pulley on the oil pump itself do you ? Cheers aaron

Yes both wheels are on the ground thats what i thought it should stop the crank turning but its not doing, never had a problem with my cluth slipping either so im abit confused at the minute I will pass on this one if you dont mind, dont like the idea of putting stuff down my engine other then plugs haha

No, its still in the car but Ive lowered the engine far enough down to work on it

Thats what ive tried so far but it still turns so far things springs back. Doesnt lock the pulley so it wont undo :/ anymore advice guys

Can someone tell me best way to stop the crank pulley turning whilst trying to undo the bolt that holds it in place? (Drivers side lower pulley) Thanks lads Aaron
