A vf28 is less laggy sorry my fault, I upgraded from td04 to vf on my old engine and found it better. Not a massive amount and for price difference to a vf you can't really fault the td04.

Vf22 with a good map will be between a ct9 and a td04 on lag

Yes a hybrid would see that but pretty maxed out a.vf22 should be well within its power around 240hp and be nice and safe

Well a td04 or vf22 will be more than enough if your only after that power mate

I think il be going for a gt28/30 should be less lag then a td12 with good power

Advantages just look at Socks page it tells it all tbh, but price your usualy looking 800 iirc he did manage to pick his up for like 250 off some guy on ebay that didnt know what he had

I had standard internals on TD04 at 1.1bar, HDI intercooler, FPR and FCD and a coulple of others bits for around a year. It made 221.4bhp Toyo sports manifold ( EBAY JOB ) Standard ecu aswell Engine stayed strong with no problems then i built a forged engine

Is it stock head or has it had any work done to it ? And what lsd?

Can you give full details on the engine spec? who built it? What ancilaries? Any build pictures? how many miles on engine? How many miles on the gearbox ?

Well so far its neck and neck, much love for the 4E reving ability but the ability of a bigger turbo on the 5E is making this a difficult decision. I suppose if anyone come forward with either or for sale then that's which what it will be
