  2. To start of with as many know I already have an n/a, for those that haven't seen it before it looked like this... I still throughly love the car, but it was and never would've been a real one. I then found a website called 'tradecarview'. For days even weeks I had been scanning it for the perfect car. The wish list was rather long then this one popped up one night and by lunch time next day I had agreed the price and shipping ect. So here are two photos from the for sale ad. So this was early July and it wasent even going on the boat until the end of the month. After watching it online stop at various places round the world it was finally destined for the UK on the 13th. So I picked the car up on Tuesday and it was more than what I expected. I'll let the pictures do the talking as that's the best bit to look at lol. One mid way home... Then the rest were taken at work today That's all the photos I have, the car came with so many extras I didn't know it had! Looking to get it all under sealed, polished up and how I want it for Combe next year. So look forward to updates soon.
  3. Nice condition, a bit of surface rust around fixing bracket which will clean off with a few minutes of elbow grease. Not bent or twisted. This was fitted to my UK EP91 S when I bought it (was going to be a project car for another UKSO member). But it was knocking on the air box, and was pointless on a standard N/A that I had no intention of modding. So it had to come off... Collection by yourself, or you can arrange for a courier to collect for you. Cost & Payment: £10 - payment up front if you arrange a courier to collect it, or I will accept cash on day of collection if you prefer to come & collect it yourself. Location is South Lincolnshire / PE10 No currently on Ebay, but it will go there if no interest on UKSO by end of June. Any questions please feel free to ask, thanks for looking.
  4. I'm looking for a Varis front bumper ideally in silver if anyone has for sale?

  6. Just a repost from TGTT to make it nice and easy to find. So I've just gone through the process of deleting the power steering out from my car. Information was a little flimsy on what exactly was needed, and the right process of how one goes about doing it. I would like to take the time to highlight the way I achieved a power steering delete. Things you will need: EP80 Steering Column EP80 Steering Rack EP80 Steering Column to Rack Knuckle (Don't worry I forgot this component read thread to find out) I was told you need to swap out the Steering column and the rack and then it should fit. But the problem here is that if you swap out the column, you lose the height adjustability. And whilst you might say you never use it, it does remove some of that JDMness from the car. The way I've done it, from the interior, you'd never know it's been swapped. I've also not botched the PS rack by looping the lines. Why Can't You Use the JDM Column? Unfortunately, you can't do this conversion on the JDM steering column, not in its current form anyway. The problem is, is that the power steering rack has a very thick head that protrudes into the cabin of the car, and the non-powersteering rack has a very small head, that sits in the engine bay. The column compensates this by extending the arm on the column a good few inches further. And I looked at a lot of alternatives for this, and I potentially found a few alternatives. Toyota did another Starlet, called the Carrot. And for whatever reason, this car seemed to have an extra piece between the column and the rack, and I thought I might be able to use this piece to fix the issue. I'm sure you could, but it wasn't a direct swap and I gave up there. So you can see clearly the column simply isn't long enough to meet the rack. So my idea was to press out the universal joint on the EP80 column, and swap out the extension part on the JDM column. And after some measuring, I sussed it'll fit. Although admitably my measuring for the camera was shocking. The U-Joint is a press fit into the housing THEY ARE 16MM not 15 as shown in the image. And I would say around 40mm for the width. So the first thing you will want to do is to press out the old EP80 column U joint and free the extension rod. Then get it mounted onto your JDM Column Now you just need to fit your non-power steering rack. I didn't take any photos of this. But it's a simple on off jobby (HE SAYS!!!) On the drive on Axle stands, I swear it must have taken me 3 hours to do!! No room whatsoever. But luckily getting the manual rack in was EASY PEASEY! All you need now is the EP80 Rack to Column Knuckle! Which I forgot to get! No worries, I bought a Rack to Column Knuckle from a 2001 Toyota Yaris (Powersteering model) which was very similar to the JDM knuckle. I pressed out the smaller, column end, knuckle, and pressed it into the JDM knuckle. With that done, it was simply a case of refitting it all back into the car, the time was late and the pictures I took were naff. But that was it all done.
  7. Hi guys, Just putting the feelers out. I'm after a set of Meister R Coilovers for the Glanza. My suspensions shot and I figured I might as well go for the best. But before I shell out 800 odd quid for new just wondering if anyone has any in mint condition? Cheers!
  8. Hi all I've just bought a replacement indicator bulb holder for my 99V from here. Annoyingly the replacement doesn't fit. Can anyone confirm if the part was pointlessly redesigned between 96/97 and 98/99 models? I've received one which works, but the bulb holder itself doesn't secure into the light on the car! You can see the difference in the photos below. Also the left one has Y shape pins on the bulb, and the right one, the pins are horizontal! So bloody annoying. If anyone is selling the 98/99 compatible one on the left, please let me know! Cheers Arnold
  9. Hi all I require a passenger side front indicator bulb holder for my 99V Glanza with some wire posted to UK. Anyone have one for sale? Cheers Arnold

  16. I'm scrapping my N/A starlet so all the parts have to go as I now have a Celica... Everything is in Great condition and all the parts have been well looked after. I really wouldn't be getting rid of these bits if i was keeping the car or getting another starlet. If you're interested in anything send me a PM and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. Item For Sale,Condition & Description: OEM SR / CD Parcel Shelf with upgraded speakers. The shelf is in excellent condition and has upgraded FLI speakers in it but still uses the oem Plug. This is a great upgrade for an N/A that doesn't come with one because you can take the rear quarter plastic trim off and find the plug that plugs into the shelf and then you'll have rear speakers! one of the best mods to an N/A imo! Price, payment & Shipping Details: £45 Posted including paypal fees. Pictures: Item For Sale,Condition & Description: OEM Glanza Front strut brace modified to fit an N/A The strut brace is in good condition but would probably benefit from a re paint, however it looks good when fitted! when you try to fit these braces to an N/A the fuel filter normally gets in the way stopping you from fitting it. this one has had the metal tube shaped so it misses it and you don't have to mess around with the fuel filter. It has never bothered me and you cant tell once its fitted. Price, payment & Shipping Details: £30 posted in the UK including paypal fees. Pictures: Item For Sale,Condition & Description: Glanza / N/A OEM Optional wind deflectors with some clips The wind deflectors are in decent condition and the passenger one is mint! however the drives side one has a couple of cracks on it but they still look good when fitted and are much better than HEKO ones etc. Price, payment & Shipping Details: £55 posted in the UK including paypal fees. These will have to be wrapped up very well to avoid further damage. Item For Sale,Condition & Description: K&N Panel Air filter The air filter is in used condition but works perfectly fine! I would still be using it if i wasn't scrapping the car. Could benefit from a quick clean or blow off with an airline Which i may do if i get time but other than that its fine. Price, payment & Shipping Details: £20 posted in the UK including paypal fees. Pictures Item For Sale,Condition & Description: Modified Intake Pipe to use with a performance filter and plug air sensor into. The Pipe is in good condition and is to use with a cone air filter. it has the rubber bung in it that allows you to plug your air temp sensor into. Price, payment & Shipping Details: £20 posted in the UK including paypal fees. Pictures Item For Sale,Condition & Description: Damaged O/S 98 Spec rear lamp As I say the lamp is damaged on the corner but apart from that is in mint condition! The housing is perfectly usable and is proper 98 spec housing. seems too good to throw away. Price, payment & Shipping Details: £25 posted in the uk including paypal fees Pictures Thanks!

  18. As it says in the title I need a bit of help with my wiring as its a mess. I want to wire tuck/tidy up my engine bay but firstly I need to start with the headlights as it looks a absolute mess. I've got a few pictures and need to know what's what and what I can get rid of. There is one picture that's nothing to do with electrics but what's the point in making a whole new thread for 1 picture. Also, I know what to do about moving the fuse box i.e tape up and number all the wires, move the fuse box to desired location and extend the wires. where are people running there wires through?. Perks of having a car the previous owner didn't look after right? lol Thanks to anyone who helps I really appreciate it O/S headlight wires/boxes? What is this connector and where is it meant to go? Where are these grounds meant to go? N/S wiring and HID ballast and what's that rubber thing lol What is this and can I get rid of this?
