I would still say it needs to be a bit lower but certainly better than it was before.

If i'm being picky, I dont really like the style of the wheels, dont suit very well in my opinion. 15's are definately the best choice though. Also, the seat covers/headrest things are just plain cheesy

Yeah si, you can get different spring rates. I dont have a clue what mine are to be honest, I would need to ask daveburwash because it was a group buy!

Sparky, in my opinion your car would be 10000X better with a nice jap exhaust. Obviously you have more important things to sort first like your front end at the moment, but keep that thought for the future PLEASE!

About the exhaust, funny you should say that because in my opinion the exhausts on your car are shocking! Obviously just different tastes!

But yeah, your right. I've looked into a nice jap one with a mad angle on it, (i want shelleys exhaust ) but right now i'd like to get more important thing done like respray etc.

Not to keen on the carat lights. It will have some reflet lights on it shortly though, think they will work well. Nice and simple looking

The wheels are Enkies mate. Came as standard on some mazda's but the dealers removed them when they came into country and flogged them off .

i think it looks sweet mate. front grill looks cool and so does the ride height. how much did your wind deflectors set you back cuz ive seen em for 50 quid on ebay and thinking of buying some. is this a reasonable price?

Okkkkk well my car is gonna change a fair bit over the summer and into next year so thought i'd start a progress thread. Some of the pics are taken by me, and the more recent from my mate Parker who is pretty sh1t hot with a camera!

Might aswell start from the beginning eh...

Take one digusting micra: eh sorry starlet

Add the wheels you had lying in your room and remove bump strips

Tidy up a bit with clear indicators and side reps. Get stainless exhaust fitted, make a grille and lower a bit

Rake the scrappies and add a splitter to front and lower some more. Fit turbo seats

Rape my car of interior

Buy some proper suspension!

Dump the coilovers to looow, new number plates, wind deflectors, raid the scrappies for a splitter for back and get parker to take some good pictures!!!!

(Stiff enough for you??? )

Okk enough pics I tried to keep to minimum but when Parker insists on taking 60 pics it hard to resist

Next on the to-do list:

New back lights

No problems at all, occasionally catches the arch, nothing to worry about. doesnt like speedbumps right enough but who does?

I know its the one thats used on the "JDM" starlet (JDM is such an over-used term these days) It also comes on the "UKDM" bug-eyed corrola.

Like I said, certainly makes a difference and i dont plan on taking it off either, it makes the car rev alot more freely but just think "huge" is a bit exagerated! You'll be lucky to see a 5bhp increase from it in my opinion. Remember that the "JDM" starlets have a different ecu and injectors to create the extra 25bhp they have from the factory.

I wouldnt say it make a huge difference. It's certainly noticable but nothing spectacular to be honest!

As for the girlfriend - well she likes it but the ride is a bit stiff for her I think.
