My Livesports Glanza EP91 (UPDATE 24/06/2014)
FrancyGlanza replied to FrancyGlanza's topic in EP91 Glanza Progress Blogs
Update Been a while since ive updated my thread in the last couple of months as ive been kept busy as some of you know i got a dodgy engine rebuild done in the first place which ended up been a full rebuild the second time around My block and crank were fuked which was the reason why i had problems in my recents threads, thrust washers were found in my sump when i was cleaning it out, the play that was in the crank was unreal The full rebuild was done with only genuine parts and the head and block done by martin tracy at westward engineering While the car was off the road done alot of sorting out. while the engine was out i cleaned the engine bay. Got the centre section cut out of exhaust and replaced for straight pipe which sounds way better now. Picked up an apexi boost gauge cause didnt like my racetech gauge in PSI. Order deep dish steering wheel for christmas. I also Picked up genuine livesport rear lip just has to be collected . Had a leaking coilover which i got rebuilt. Sold the JAM ECU and went for JAM FCD and Sard fuel pressure regulator. Its now ran in and just have to get fueling sorted by Martin Sum Pics to follow work done Enlarge this image Enlarge this image Enlarge this image Enlarge this image Enlarge this image Click to see fullsize Enlarge this image Click to see fullsize Enlarge this image Click to see fullsize Enlarge this image Click to see fullsize Enlarge this image Enlarge this image Enlarge this image Enlarge this image Enlarge this image Enlarge this image Enlarge this image Enlarge this image Enlarge this image Enlarge this image Enlarge this image Enlarge this image Enlarge this image Enlarge this image Enlarge this image Enlarge this image Enlarge this image Enlarge this image Enlarge this image Enlarge this image Enlarge this image Enlarge this image Enlarge this image Enlarge this image Enlarge this image Enlarge this image Click to see fullsize Enlarge this image Enlarge this image Enlarge this image Enlarge this image Enlarge this image Enlarge this image Enlarge this image -

Cars been off the road the past couple of weeks due to a few problems one of them was with the clocks acting up moving on there own and jumping up and down.. this turned out to be the coilpack and igntion coil that was sorted but now the car gets its hard to start and its dropping in power when its on. It turns over but doesn fire up and when its doing this it lets off one or two bangs, one or two that it did do were scary loud Ive changed the battery, checked plugs, checked all the earths, changed the king lead and dizzy cap, checked the timeing and also the altenator i even got it checked out and was told its 100% its getting fuel if i turn on all the electrics it drops down to 600 or around that and stays there rather than going back up. When i push the clutch it also does this but cuts out or goes down to a 100rpm Also after a few times that it does starts, it runs like shit. if you push the accelerator it splutters and farts and sound like its going to cut out and will if you keep at it Its loosen power some where and to me could be an electrical problem Engine loom is dodgy looking too as alot of it was chopped up due to the previous set up Batterys in the boot to by the way has me puzzeled at this stage Anyone experience this before? Cheers
