Sooo, havent posted in a while, didnt ever really continue updating my thread of EP3 ownership - which can be found at: -

Anyway, story, a friend of mine bought a nice facelift ek9 in championship white. Low mileage etc. Ive always loved them since i first got into cars, and was exceptionally envious. Fortunately for me he found himself in money struggles, not so fortunate for him, however i decided to help him out by buying the ek9 off him part-ex with my ep3 (ok, so really i just wanted the ek9). It was a hard decision as i loved my ep3, got her handling really well, and really knew the car! I decided about a week into ownership that i didnt regret my decision at all. The ek handles as well, standard, as my ep3 ever did, a lot to do with the lsd i think. I never realised how much difference the diff makes! Foolish really... Also the speed difference was not enough to put me off at all. All i had to do was get a standard exhaust shipped from jdm land (which my mate had already ordered, so no problems there) to make her totally stock. But anyways, i'll let the few pictures i have do the talking...

Ive just noticed how obvious the tape covering the 'k' is in this photo. I swear its practically invisible in person.

So there she is. Plan is to keep her standard until after japfest and just change service items, and sort out the two chips on the splitter, then perhaps ill think about mods, on the basis that i keep the standard items so that she can be reverted in future. hope you like!

Taggy man you will allways have issues giving that car up, it's given you some major shit and you still got it up and running, I'd keep it and get rid of your other cars

I love how its sitting now im happy with it even if it dose rub on the shit shield on the passenger side due to it weeping its oil out the coilover. No biggy i want to get some brand new Bc's when funds will allow.

My V had 151,000km on the clock when I bought it, did when I sold it too

Should have made a mention a long time ago - as for spares I've got from Idrees personally, they've been spot on, well priced, and arrived in quick time, which is great as they need to come overseas!

I love ep3 civics! Think they are weapons In the right hands. Too many boring and average examples floating about making everyone think that they are rubbish.

That's my line of thinking! Unfortunately mines still pretty standard... Give me a year

As for the ep3, they are common, doesn't make them any worse looking/of a car. I love mine, it's a great car to drive, and something has to be said for a quick n/a - don't get me wrong, I preferred the starlet but at the time it was more cost effective to sell it at the time and get a new car, than fork out loads fixing it, and I'd always wanted to try out an ep3 so why the hell not!
