So... The glanza had some major issues of which I can't be bothered to cover because there was a lot - which I couldn't afford to sort/warrant getting a loan for. This forced me to sell up for a mediocre £1500 and then allowed me to start looking for another motor. I wanted something post 2000 and jap manafactured(ish) so I set about looking for something in this bracket - and here's what I got (bear in mind the title of this thread, and that my photography skills are crap :p)

Don't murder me.

Sounds and runs perfect and the whole car is v.g.c.

To be fair I've always wanted one, and the forced sale of the glanza warranted getting it so there we go.

Modifications may be slow as I'm trying to pay it off as quick as possible which does limit my funds a tad but I haven't got a clue what I'm going to do to it so this could be interesting :) please feel free to call me a betrayer for buying a Honda :)

I actually quiet like em in that model nice shape nice shade of black I detailed a friend f mine one and u can get a real deep glossy shine and they do go ok once raggin em but my question is will u miss boost dude ?

Thinking of getting one of these myself as I need something a little bigger for when I've got the nipper in the back as my Missus has to have her seat right forward to get he's car seat in he back...

Yeah it really does need lowering, though I'm gonna be rocking standard for quite a while, bar tris' induction kit, and yeah I do and will miss boost, but to be fair, it's not much slower than m v when it's in Tec, and being a car I've always wanted - it's not something that bothers me :) I knew what to expect I guess.

Matt, when I have a spare bit of cash maybe I will!

Boooo!! haha :D nah I like it :p... Get it lowered and some new wheels and then looks wise I think it would really set it off :D

And I will, just gimme time :) proper skint at the moment - and I wanna try and pay off the loan before buying mods :)

Small update - the bloody thing clearly hasn't been treated with consistent cleaning and polishing, so me and a few friends did our best with it, though it does need a clay bar for sure, thought if upload some pics anyway :)

So - minor update - pictures coming in about 4 hours.

Tinted the top half of the taillights red as the chrome was really effing bugging me. Lexus lights don't even look good on Lexus's and there is nothing else chrome to match. So they're block red now (reverse light is a bit pink but ill make do until I can get the jdm ones)

Fitted the injen ram air induction kit. Vtec roars a beaut now but still got nothing on most v's.

Plans for the future are to add photos :p and -

Jdm head/taillights for black surrounds rather than chrome

Megan mid pipe

Spoon n1 axle back exhaust (might even consider a rep, will be explained at the end of this post)

Lowering springs

Rear 3 windows tinted

Air/wind deflectors

Possible mugen lip and grille. Depends if I can cba to spend the money.

My plan is to make it a bit different to every other person driving round in a nhb ctr without spending a huge amount of cash. Ideally ill keep this as a daily as fuel is great off-tec, and I want another starlet to do our local hill climb with (search 'guernsey Val des terres hillclimb' on YouTube to check it out, it's a good climb :D) plus I really miss boost and starlets more specifically. It would be a shame not to own another. So yes spend little on the civic for a nice daily and save for another starlet! Hope most of you like the sound of that! :D

Exhaust is next, found a bargain spoon n1 axle back second hand in really good condition and a 2.5" unsilenced mid pipe from cat back on their way for some decent rasp ;)

So, got the centre section on last weekend, it's raspy :) but sounds not dissimilar to a blow so a few weeks and the spoon axle back will be on its way ;)

Then into some bigger more essential bits like new discs for the front, coilovers and wheels within the next few months, just got a pay rise too which helps out a lot.

I will upload a video of oem back box rasp ones when I get the chance :)
