  4. im running external wastegate yes mate and im not too sure whether the internal wastegate is welded shut as i havent had the turbo housing apart but the actuator bolt which i have a pic of at the top of the page is welded shut but still has some play isn't it! im controlling boost through a blitz electronic boost controller had a look through the "boost" settings on the actual ebc but i wasnt confident in changing anything as there was a few things i dont know what they do .

  5. right i put a thread on another starlet forum but thought would post on here too im not hitting full boost until around 5500-6000 revs i have a forged ep82 running 1.2 bar and 268.1 bhp , got told when i bought it that for it too boost earlyer need to drill out where the old actuator was and put a bolt in it too close it properly? it has allready been welded but has a slight bit of play isn't it ! just wondering what you think i should do drill it out and put a bolt through ? or open up the turbo housing and weld the circular valve what the actuator controls shut ? i have no actuator by the way i now have blitz ebc

here is the current weld on the old actuator bracket
