My last cluch was from factory and had cover 65000 miles, I've just replaced it with a standard exedy as i can get them for under £50 new
Is that the whole kit for under 50?
Ill give you 60 for one

Yea, but im still getting creep issues with it even after porting, and these speedvisions seem to have a higher power rating.
No pics yet, havent had the turbo off since we spoke. But ill be porting the mani soon so ill get some up.
My mates been using speedvision hybrid for almost 5 years and not had any issues at all and it still pulls well with no issues,
awesome, did he get it direct from their website?

Wondering if anyone has bought one of these and if they are any good?

If its just a tyre I'll leave it. But if I need new suspension how do I go about making a claim?

Absolutely gutted , was driving along a road in Glasgow behind St Enoch, when bang! Smacked a massive pothole/sunken drain.
On my way home the front and back left were rattling and banging like mad, and when I went back down to the car 10 mins later the front tyre had deflated.
I'm guessing the shocks and strut mounts will be knackered.

its standard internals

cool guys, thanks for the info.
Im thinking i might go for a wideband now, is it just a case of adjusting the fpr higher or lower, till i get the right reading?
-
So im planning on taking my car to a garage to having the fueling checked, running a bar of boost and 3bar fuel on the rrfpr.
I was thinking though, could i buy a wideband and do it myself?

A wee bit out of my price range lol

Just curious if the ABS on a Glanza V is on all 4 wheels or just the front?
-
Yea i'll prob just go for the one on ebay, they seem like a reputable seller
-
Looking at getting a new outer CV joint, as my passenger side one makes a weird ticking noise when i do a low speed tight right hand turn.
Can anyone recommend a good place to get one, and is it 23 or 30 spline?
Its a 1996 Glanza V
Cheers

Just discovered that EuroCarParts do the same kit but cheaper than ebay lol
-
that would be awesome mate, where in Glasgow are you?
-
Has anyone bought one of these kits on eBay for £100.
Seem like really good value.
My current OEM clutch is starting to slip a bit when the boost comes on hard. The pedal is quite high so I'm assuming this is down to wear and not that an OEM can't handle it
-
When i bought my Glanza V it came with Square Plates.
Im going to be buying some Jap sized ones 12.5x6.5
But i cant decide on single or double lined.
So, legality aside, which do you rekon?

Anyone around Glasgow area got a part worn 195 45 15 tyre i could buy.
Not wanting to buy a brand new one as im saving for a full set of 50's
-
Hey, was wondering if these things actually work.
You slip it in the end of your exhaust and its supposed to drastically kill the noise.
I love the note off the car, but it can be a bit of a pain on long motorway drives.

Really want one of these!, Sent you a PM

awesome, thanks, ill get in touch
AVA £1000 map

I know its not Starlet related, so if this is the wrong place, sorry.
I just wanted some opinions.
My brother has build a MK5 Escort RS2000 with a MK1 Focus RS engine in it.
It has an OMEX 600 ecu, and frount mount. Apart from that its standard focus rs.
He took it to AVA in Glasgow to get it running.
They said a few sensors needed replaced so to leave the car with them and they will get it done.
Now its complete'ish. They want £1000.
From what my brother has told me they used £80 of fuel on the dyno, and they have only got the car running 200bhp. Well below what was expected.
The guy said it was very complicated to set up and get right, (200bhp is not what i would call "right")
Surely its not that complicated to set up a standard engine on an aftermarket ecu?
Also the guy has disconnected the actuator, saying that the backpressure from the exhaust is enough to hold it closed (wtf)
This all sounds a bit mental to me
