Don't suppose i could get a standard FPR if there's one spare?
-
Id imagine someone whos bought it before has removed the forged engine and put in a stock one

Welcome! If you keep an eye out in glasgow this weekend, your sure to see me blasting around
-
-
just out of my budget, absolutely gutted haha, total weapon!
-
less restriction on the intake
-
maybe problem i have is being in campbeltown im absolutely ages away from tuners etc, so it would be easier for me to buy a car thats already had an ecu and been mapped
-
its more than wise, its what all the cool kids are doing, like cocaine
you just remove the dump valve, then block off any holes or pipes that are left over
-
Mine is fine, just got a new plan in mind

Looking for a Glanza running EMU or better, and a TD04 or bigger turbo kit
Cash waiting
cheers

its the actuator that is prone to boost creep as it cant react quickly enough, and a MBC is just a static adjustment, but because an EBC actively monitors the boost and makes adjustments in milliseconds its able to overcome this problem
-
fuel cut is at around 0.85 so you should run 0.8 to be safe
but a manual boost controller wont be able to control boost creep so you might have to set it lower
-
tried that, was even harder haha, and technique or tool?
-
hahaha

Campbeltown, 140 miles from Glasgow, which is the nearest city haha

Cheers man, If i cant find a car already forged in budget, id be looking for something thats already been set up in terms of management and turbo kit. Then forge the engine myself over time. Then get the boost upped.
Such a pain living in the middle of nowhere lol
-
As said, your best bet is an Electronic Boost controller, it will allow you to raise the boost to 0.8bar, and should keep it from creeping too high and hitting fuel cut
-
how do you remove the plug from the sensor without taking the inlet mani off, i can reach it with my hand but can seem to get it off
-
Its alot of hassle for me since im nowhere near tuners or machineshops, so would be easier if i just sold mine and bought one already forged and mapped
-
saw it, absolute beast but just out of my price range unfortunately
-
