thing is its not a slight lack of power, its a complete lack of power in the higher revs. if i get a FCD or uprated fuel pump could this sort it out?

having a few issues with my car now after fitting the exhasut, its probably unrelated to the exhaust but when i'm in boost aroud 5-6k revs i get a total loss of power for less than half a second then it comes back and repeats, its just like hitting a wall :/ just wondering if anybody had any clues as to whats happening?

So i saw on a site (ACE i think it was or something) that apparently the government are putting forward a legislation to keep all cars completely unmodified! this will be done through an MOT type test apparently just wondering if anybody else had heard about this?

can someone please help a brother out with what size vacuum hosing i need for sorting out the boost restriciton or something that tells me what sizes are needed throughout? much appreciated (yes im a little simple)
