Anyone up for a lal meet in or near Carlisle in the next few week? Got my starlet now and was in keswick last night and seen another one, first time i've ever seen another apart from my own. Think he was after a lal race down the dual-carriage way but times are hard, fuel is low and I was cruising with another 2 fella's ! (Thats my excuse lol) Is it anyone off here?

This is what I mean, so many people put different answers. One says Fully while the other says semi! I've gathered fully is better, but people seem to use any old shi*e! lol. I think I'll go for 10w40 Fully syn. So is 3.5 ltrs about right?

Before i start I did do a search but the 2 topics it came up with were no good. Just to make sure (because I'm doing a oil change next week) what's the best oil to use for my 97' Glanza TURBO. And how much does it take to fill from empty? Cheers, Karl.

Cheers, the small switch isn't fog lights, i think it's maybe for an old alarm but not to sure. The car has clifford on the windows but there is no alarm fitted so I'm guessing the fella I bought it from took it out. The switch is just a small flick switch, has a red LED on it, and it's to the left of the steering wheel. (But not on the actual dash where the Hi/Lo boost and hazards are)

A Few quick questions 1. whats the little red button near my steering wheel, dosnt do anything? (old alarm?) 2. Whats the "antenna" thing near my light thats on an extendable pole? 3. what model is mine? EPblah blah.. (P reg glanza) 4. i have a/c, but there is another button next to it called econ, whats that? thanks in advance!

Evening all!, Yeh I'm chuffed with it, pictures don't do it justice, it's so clean it's unreal. I had a good look around it and it seems fine...so far! I've got plans for FMIC and I want it waxoiled to, maybe some new wheels. It's all money though, which I havn't got lol I'll take some pictures when it's better weather and I've give it a good clean! Well after a good look around and finally getting my bank loan I've settled on a starlet turbo Glanza to buy All seem's ok and I'm going to look at it tomoz, if all looks well I'll be driving it away aswell. Car is in Edinburgh which isn't too bad as I'm near Carlisle. Yeh I've heard rumours about that garage, shame really because' some of the starlets they have in seem good! Got 5k sitting here so I'll have a glanza within the next two weeks. The one I'm suposed to be seeing on saturday is a lovely emaxple, the lad is saying it might be next weekend now though because' the private plates need changed over ;) But I'm still on the lookout so if anyone knows of any? Looking to buy a starlet glanza-v either this weekend or next, (Going to view one on saturday as it happens) and was wandering if there is anything to look out for? This will be my first starlet and my first turbo so any information regarding the two would be great. Few questions... Are the turbo's likely to go and at what age? What do I look for when buying? Any common faults? Area's prone to rusting? Any help will be appreciated, cheers! Karl
