to get it registered you have to mot it first
so when it's registered, it will show that it hasn't had an mot since it was registered. (Because your mot was before)
Doesn't mean it doesn't have an mot
Hope this helps
Thanks for that! At least some people understand

Ok cool , so to sum up , it needs MOT.
Thanks for the clarification. I might come to view this weekend. Will let you know.
No it is far from needing an MOT. I have paperwork and proof and have also drove it on the UK roads. Also if it was to need an MOT it would pass for years to come.

Registration number:
P438 UCL
✗ Untaxed
Tax due: 20 September 2015
MOT
No details held by DVLA
New keepers must get tax before using the vehicle.
It does not show any MOT on DVLA website.
Yes because I'm not sure if you know but when it is registered the DVLA do not update their database with the MOT details. It will not show a valid MOT until it gets re tested and then it will go onto the new UK plate however it does hold a valid MOT I have the certificate here to prove it it was MOT'd in the VIN

Hi is the car Moted up to March 16 or September 16 ? I'm a bit confused cause this was registered in September 15. Also what's the service history from Japan ? Any paperwork came with the car?
When can I view the car?
March 16. It was tested as soon as it came over to the U.K. but stored in my garage before I eventually got it registered and started driving it. No history from Japan only thing it came with was the Japanese certificates which the DVLA kept.
Nice motor, worth every penny;-)
Thank you! It is a very nice car!

Hi guys,
Just a quick post! Myself and a close friend that many of you may know (MattEP91Glanza) also called Matt have took it upon ourselves to create our very own car community. "JDM Collective"
There was along time ago a club under the same name however that disappeared and everything along with it went also back in 2012!
I didn't know this at the time of coming up with a name but JDM Collective is the name we've settled on!
I thought I would post up and ask you guys to give us a like maybe even a share and help us grow! We have big plans for the coming years currently just gaining a following before we arrange anything but we have many good ideas on what we're going to bring to the table next season! We have a photographer joining us who will be attending any meets we arrange and the main events such as Japfest and JAE. He will be photographing any and all cars and looking at creating short video features also!

I've recently got my freshly imported glanza registered with dvla and received the number plate 11 days ago now however it still isn't showing up on any insurance quotation databases or mycarcheck it just says no details found for this vehicle or the vehicle is not found! However it does show up on the dvla website if you use the vehicle enquiry page to see tax and test? Does anyone know how long this process can take because no one seems to want to insure it until the number plate is returning the actual car!

^^ They just purge every now and then it's normal

Good lad. You clearly know your stuff having sorted this out so quick. Aye if you want me to test that sql theory of yours I can. Qualified penetration tester ain't I mush????
Jokes. Nah I'm sure it's secure.
Thanks man wish i could develop as a career!, i'm currently glued to the screen working on this! Aye i think its pretty much secure like i say but if anyone does find any bugs please do report them asap!

My only slight concern and why I wouldn't participate, is entering in the VIN. I'd do everything except the VIN. Happy to submit the last 5 digits etc. How can I be sure that your server what be compromised by a simple buffer overflow or sql injection etc...
Maybe I'm just paranoid. But I love this idea, but don't want to submit a full VIN. My dad has been in the position of having his VIN plate used on one of his cars before and he had to contest against it.
Its highly unlikely it will succumb to a buffer overflow exploit and as for the sql injection, knowing how to SQLi myself i have made sure its 99.9% secure also its using a framework with Eloquent for the queries so be sure it will be safe! But the VIN is optional either way it isnt a required field i made sure of that! Thanks please do submit your vehicle!
Got your work cut out for you now lad
