My car when hot idles between 500 and 800 rpm, surely that can't be right? If not how do I get it to idle about 1000rpm

Hi, I need the gasket that goes on to the turbo where my intercooler pipe bolts onto? As I don't have one there for some strange reason and think I may be loosing boost pressure and want one for fitting my front mount ? Thanks
