    Starler sr

hi would the mod lock and close this thread please. due to my new insurance company shafting me and adding £500+ on a starlet SR over a standard sportif, (from 1400ish to just over 2k ) (old company added 50quid!) i've sadly decided i'll stick to my starlet sportif for another 6months to a year:( and when my insurance becomes "cheapish", i shall restart my search. sad sad times p.s. thanks to everyone who replied.
  11. As I've mentioned previously, i've been looking for a SR and stumbled across this today. Really clean example with low low mileage but a tad overpriced. What you think? (by the way i have no plans to buy this, a few hundred more, i could get a glanza/gt) />http://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-motorbikes/1998s-toyota-starlet-13-sr-low-miles-full-service-history-tax-and-mot/113464852

  13. Thanks guys:) I've got a quick question. Can anyone tell me roughly how much a new clutch costs with labour? (Then ill have a rough idea if the garages are ripping me off!). I've seen the clutch kit on eurocarparts for £65 (with their 25% discount offer). Any ideas? Thanks
  14. Is it possible for more pictures? And roughly how much to get it back to good condition? After a starlet sr

    Starler sr

After a starlet sr (cheap as possible/no more than a grand). Stupidly i never rang about lukeSR's starlet and regret it...big time! Looking for a standard or reasonably standard, preferably without engine mods (insurance purposes). Open minded about standard starlet that have been lowered and with alloys and spoiler. Looking to spend under a grand, mileage under 100k, but i dont mind going above. Also, location near leicester/london. Thanks:)
  16. So finally decided to join after following this forum since april. Own a bog standard starlet 1.3 5dr. Joined as im after a starlet sr, as standard as possible. P.s. some of the glanza v's, gt's and modded starlet look awesome.
