its been a while since i posted when the recaro's went in well here is an update. i have to confess i dont come on here as much as the other staret forum! but il try and be good from now on.

1.had a rolling road session to see standard power which was 135bhp-134lbt
2. a new tyre as i got a puncher
3. Apexi turbo timer
4. locking wheel nuts
5. HKS F con is ecu
6.HKS EVC 6 boost controller
7. loom and what no to install by a pro! (not me)
8. re-map and another rolling road... 142bhp-175lbt (low bhp as cooling and clutch was a problem)
9. front mount intercooler (autobahn88) shabby fixings tbh! had to get some samco reducers.
10. oil change
11.tein spanners for lowering
12. new Eagle F1 tyres
13. got me self a genuine toyota splitter of which will be fitted tuesday.

im the cantbassed on the list by the way

its not been restricted yet a dont think although i think it may have a opiggy back system on it as ma pals glanza is no where near as fast plus he gets feul cut on high boot schanging up gears and mines just keeps pulling so its makin me wonder lol
the re-striction is in 1st and 2nd as it dose not boost fully. lile in 3rd it pulls alot more etc. but with the restriction the 2 way tubo botton dose not work. grr i want some engine mods!!! your car sounds mint!
-
what a prodject!!! wish i had room at mine to have any sort of prodject. all i do is seem to just store car parts.
lol at the mdf splitter! reminds me of a metro with mdf rear arches with the standard wheels haha
looking good!!

Dirty filthy animal Sparky, cars are for driving, houses are where loving takes place (up to you where bouts in the house though
)
Blimey, you must be uber short to be able to lay down in the back of a Starlet!
lol, well i could curl up! lol hmm the seats already have stains so a few more i dont think will harm! they are so so snug!!! i think its the 2nd best mod I've ever done out of me cars!
a quick question, i no the glanza's are re-stricted... i think i no how to by pass it (swapping the hoses round with one another) but dose this damage the engine in any way???
cheers!
-
nice car mate!!! looks like you hav ethe same seats what i had when i got my glanza v
http://www.ukstarletclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=4586
have you de-ristricted it yet? if yes have you encountered any problems etc?
plans sound good!!!
welcome to the site!

hi and welcome mate! looks like you have a bit of work to be done! keep us updated!
-
trouble is i like the thought of having rear seats for all sorts of reasons!
specially summer coming up... car shows i may have to sleep in the back!
-
cheers for the coments people!!! had a drive with them in earlier! so so grippy! i just hope i dont fill out in my bum as i think i wont fit in!
-
well the bloke came round at 9.30 and left at 11. with the recaro's in. he said the old seats welds were crap and could snap off the rails instead of unwelding them. but he asured me its the best he can do and 100times better than what was done before.

Liking your old punto damo!
Always liked the mk2.
cheers! i sort of runined the back had two 3" oval powerflow exhausts out the back. sounded nice though.
sorry for posting pics up etc. thought i would stick up for the old punto!

beautiful motor, nice choice of wheels too mate
oh and i got mine from him too!
hes a top bloke. going to get a front splitter off him aswell. so just waiting. yeh well the welder is coming tuesday so hopefully he should have it all sorted for me! I've known him for a while, he fitted some exhausts and sorted some tricky wheels out for me in the past. I've recomened him to alot of me mates aswell. so i think he now owes me haha! yeh will get some pics up if sorted. rear bench maybe at a later date.

i liked my old punto, i had the face lift mk2b sporting. for what it was it was good. after a custom made induction kit (gsr) and re-map i got 115bhp 110 torque from a 1.4 16v. best thing i beat was a corsa b gsi.
but i did always think it was going to break when i floored it, but never had any probs from it.
this was mine

ooo, you used the evo frames! thats good, i have the evo frames still attached to the seats.. il see what can be used and wohat not. i also have the rear seats, so gogint to ask me mums friends to see if they can recover my current bench in the material or some how fitting them. fingers crossed! thankyou for the comments people and the nice welcome!
-
cheers for the comments! and big welcome! the person i got the car from as well as importing he's a breakers and insurance specialist. http://www.japanmotors.biz/ thats where i bought my car from and has a few glanza's and plenty of parts etc. my car i traded is the yellow punto. i think i got a good deal
yes they are evo 7 seats. I've loved them ever since i saw them even when i had a corsa c. thought i would wait for the right car to get some. the only trouble is im going to be a little money saving / fatel if in a accident. and get them welded in rather than spending fortunes on reacro/bride etc frames. just one risk im going to take.
if theres and links or pics of the other ep91 with the recaro's in, i would love to see.

Welcome to UKSC!
Your Glanza minted mate, it looks like a very clean example.
Looks miles better than stock with them rims and Tein Coilys!
And those Recaros... WOW! They're beautiful mate, let me know if your selling your old seats and i might buy them!
I'm looking forward to the future mods, good luck with it all!
cheers mate. future mods will be engine first, wanting around 200bhp then il be happy. then for it to get a nice respray, front splitter, lower profile tyres in between. and of course trying not to crash it.

hiya, well i have had my glanza for about 3 weeks so far. since buying it I've spent a little trying to make sure everything is going to be fine engine wise. as the car came with no history and a mileage of 45,000 miles. naughty i no but with the look over by a mechanic and the bloke offered to put it on a ramp so we could have a look under neith and was tidy all the way through, so thought to buy it. well trade in my old car for it which was above the value of this one. so to build up the value, i asked for 2nd hand tein coilovers, some white jdm alloys, boost gauge, apexi induction kit, hks exhaust system and some buckets. this was to be all fitted for me aswell. well here's the pics from when i 1st looked at it and now.
and just bought these for it, hopefully will go in when I've got round to cleaning them
comments welcome
have any of u's seen the phonejacker
