How much for the boost controller posted to Ireland -
Gearbox starting to whine a lot is it the diff bearings gone ? Slight knock when taking off aswel it's definately coming from the box aswel any ideas

That's unbelievable a pedal box makes it that bit easier but still he's got some skill to be doing that on the limit

Engine management light on only when motorway driving?

I'd say its the speedo sensor on the gearbox wire/connector could be damaged ..eml light only comes on when held at a speed over 100 k for a few seconds -
Ye does it sound like something that could be caused by a faulty release bearing ?

About 3 months ago when I did the clutch been told it could be diff bearings ?

Well lads get a vibration or grinding noise as such when the car is coming down from high in the revs if I clutch it noise goes any ideas ? It's after getting a lot worse over the weekend but everything seems gone when drive normally noise only comes when driving hard as such

Ye I think the final drive is the wrong route to take now was just an idea anyway I was comparing the effect it would have on 2 completely different engines aswell ..bit more boost will cure the problem either way

Alri I get yeast your saying I just want a bit more acceleration in 4th and 5th if you get was just curious to see was this an option the trd one is about 750 euro so that's a bit extreme ...the wheel size is something I might look into tho

Been thinking about this for a while the way all the Honda heads use 4.9 final drives and from what I can see the difference is pretty good ...is there something like this for a starlet besides the trd gear set would a final drive from another gearbox work anyone ever tryed this ?
