It was what we used in my work and they come up amazing just make sure you mix it properly one part acid two parts water and it'll be fine. they'll have never looked so good. BoostJunkie Posted March 13, 2008 Share Posted March 13, 2008 Personally Acid=Corrosion so i wont go near the stuff..The other wheel cleaners will do the same jobyes your spot on but your not using pure undilluted acid though, we used watered down concentrated acid at the right mixture one part acid two parts water and its only used to remove tough stains that honestly those products mentioned will NOT remove.Well not as well as the acid could. i personally use acid on mine (pics in my sig) everytime i wash my car and done so since buying my gt in 2006 and its not done my wheels any damage. andybill Posted March 14, 2008 Share Posted March 14, 2008 trust me as a valeter acid is fine to use, just make sure you dilute it and when you have done cleaning polish up the wheels with a decent polish and stick a few layers of something like jetseal 109 on to protect them !
