Dean_mc88
Just rebuilt my engine and have put in a brand new stage 3 spec clutch. I can select gears not an issue however when releasing the clutch it grinds as if it's not in gear ? This is happening in every gear. Can someone point me in some sort of direction what to check before I send the gearbox off for a rebuild? Some sort of check list would be helpfulI know the gearbox was ok before taking it apart. 5e colin
so you took gerbox appart ? selection shafts / balls might be miss aligned do you feel when the clutch bites the gear is engaged ???
Dean_mc88
No the gearbox hasn't been apart, it's been drained of oil and put in the office in my cousins garage so dry stored and not played with. It has oil in now.It feels like it's in gear when you depress the clutch and select a gear, no issues there. But when you release the clutch it doesn't sound like it's actually on gear and you can hear grinding as it bites
