Dead battery??

Had my battery about four years now and all of a sudden the car won't start, got normal power everywhere else, drove this morning after two hours resting it didn't start, please let it just be the battery??

You need to do a diagnostic on it. See what kind of state the battery is in.

Where can I get that done from? Some where like euro car parts or halfords?

Is the starter clicking or the lights going dim when you try to turn it over?

Starter clicks yea, just been to halfords and the start up test said to change battery as it was jus low on amps the guy told me to drive around for a bit. Past three weeks the car has been in garage so hasn't had the usaual run around could this be y the amps have dropped? All other test came back fine.

Quite possibly. Atleast they've been honest and not tried to just sell you a battery. When the amps is low thsts not a problem. Its when the voltage is down, that's when you have a problem.

Voltage was slightly down, but the guy said if it was below half then it's buggerd, took it for a run gonna wait a couple of hours and see what's what

If the battery is reading less than 10.5-11v then the battery is on its way out.
