hey guy i just got my ep82 and im not looking to make a lot of power but i want to front mount inter cooler it

i already have the intercooler the only one i could get was a 27x5.5x2.5

now ive been told that this size inter cooler would kill the ct9 which is currently on my car so a friend of mine had a TD04 9B from his gto so i was thinking about using it instaed

would this make a positive difference and would my car be able to work using it

what would it take to get it hooked up to my stock manifold ?

they are tiny little bastards. be a REALLY good upgrade for a starlet, be similar to a hybrid, but without the reliability issues.

i say go for it.

itll be a nice 190 hp if tuned well. more than enough.

what intercooler you got buddy?

and i used to have a TD04 11B a few turbos ago. they are very similar to the 9B. and it was a little monster, you get no lag at all. its great.

good choice, that is perfectly sized for that turbo.

youll have a very responsive car when thats all setup.

so what do you think about the intercooler

and what manifold did you used with your 11b

could i use the stock minifold for the 9b?

the intercooler looks good mate, its very well matched to a small turbo like the td04 9b.

it wont work with the stock manifold, so youd have to get another one made up, or get an adapter plate made that will bolt onto the stock mani.

then youll have to get a downpipe made up.

my kit was the HKS kit and had an adapter plate and decat pipe. but i was using a JAM manifold. the stock manifold is a bit crap for flow.

the ep82 turbo has different lights mate.

if you want the grill youll need the headlights aswell.

the non turbo square lights are different from NA. so you need turbo lights.
