Just bought an EP82 GT and when i give it some throttle at about 4000-5000 RPM it just stalls and the engine management light comes on and it wont start. is this happening because it has a relocated air filter without a fuel cut defender? it seems to just not get any fuel. it wont start unless you twist a set of wires directly under the distributor cap so it could be a faulty wire either. Any help would be appreciated.

shouldnt hit fuel cut if it's standard apart from a cold air intake. Fuel cut is a violent jerking action

Bridge the diagnostics terminals and see what code it throws up for the engine management light.

Could be those 2 wires coming loose either

under the dizzy ?? thats the 2 wires going to your ecu temperature sensor ( green sensor ) if they disconnect/ or make bad connection the car will start like a cunt almost not



the other sensors there are totally useless so nothing to worry about
