Gearbox questions

I'm thinking about swapping out my auto box for a manual but I was wondering if you had to use a glanza gearbox or if I could use one from another Toyota like a tercel.

al the gearboxes mated to E series engines can be used 12345E

as 5e colin said....however, the gear ratios, final drives and even internal strength differ significantly....so be careful what you choose for your intended application
