ep82paul Posted January 10, 2017 Share Posted January 10, 2017 Hi all iam stripping my engine down because it lost compression on cylinder 1 so for the 1st time ever iam going to try doing the rebuild myself which should be fun because I don't no what iam doing lol any way I've got it stripped down to the block still got crank and pistons in but no matter what I try I can not get this woodruff key out its well stuck in has any one got any ideas as iam stuck on what to do next I have already broke the edge of the pulley so I will need a new one I just can't get it free at all Quote Link to post Share on other sites

TimD Posted January 10, 2017 Share Posted January 10, 2017 That'll do it. My woodruff key stayed in the crank when I removed the pulley. It should slide over the top of it, or at least mine did, and new one now does. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
