usher Posted March 30, 2008 Share Posted March 30, 2008 hi my car cut out on me last night when i went for a drive to get a take away but my mate had a look and put it down to the coil been damp eventually after leaving it to settle it started again(thank god)but now when you hit .5 bar of boost it missfires the car has a fcd fitted so it cant b hitting fuel cut!i cleaned all the plugs and dizzy and there was no water there i also checked for boost leaks but there was none of them eithercould it b the ignition coil that sends the signal to the leads??any ideas guys and gals as its annoying me now Quote Link to post Share on other sites

When I had the problem I changed both, and all was good.good luck.Ozthats what i thought so have just ordered some HKS plug,new silicone leads and just about toorder new dizzy cap and rota then hopefully it should be good again cheers for the advice though mate.
