MrSweden Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 Does anyone have any pictures to show?Have found some Japan Racing JR3 16x7 with ET25 and/or ET40, but want to know how they sit before I make a buy.The pictures I'm asking for doesn't need to be on those wheels, just a simular ET and 16x7".Thanks Quote
whitestar Posted February 7, 2017 Posted February 7, 2017 16x7.5" ET35. ET 40 will sit like a cm more in than these. I'd take ET25 instead. Two more. Quote

whitestar Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 You just need an adjustable panhard rod for the rears to fit nicely, and some rolling for the fenders too.. Quote

whitestar Posted February 10, 2017 Posted February 10, 2017 Sexual ^^^^ Big up bro! I follow you at insta, soo I know who you are And I think you know me to... But now my is on 13" steel wheels and looks very sad, haha.Think I gonna bye JR3 16x8 ET40 and use some spacers. Yeah I remember you. ET40 might be a good idea. My only concern would be that would the rims touch the shocks. That can be arranged with spacers of course, but then you will probably need some longer wheel studs. You could put ET25 to front and ET40 for the rear? Quote
roachburger Posted February 11, 2017 Posted February 11, 2017 (edited) correct me if im wrong but arn't starlets on 14x6 et35 as standard ?with an et of 40 and an extra inch width i suspect it might lead you into troubles with the back of the rim rubbing the shock/coilover on the front and inner arch on the rearmine are et35 15 x 8.5 and i can just fit a finger between the coilover and the back of the rim. I dont know about the standard wheels. But the car has Et39 original, my old wheels had 16x7,5 Et35. If Et40 will rub the coils a little bit, the I use spacers to get the wheels out. If you can pu a finger between it's a good space. Usal there is just a few millimeters between the chocks and wheels with some alloys. Like it was on my old Audi belowBut If I buy Et25, I think the wheels gonna poke to much, and then there is nothing I can do about it.With ET40 I can use spacers Quote
