Sam_23 Posted February 26, 2017 Share Posted February 26, 2017 i fitted this about 2 weeks ago now and not used the car since as im not using it at the mo till the insurance on my other car runs out so i went up there today and the turbo timer isn't working for some reason i have gone and check the handbrake wire and thats all ok so i took the lower half of the dash off and it all seems to be ok under there cant see anything wrong but it still doesnt work it just turns off when you turn the engine off and the battery is at 13 volts so i take it it cant be that does anyone know whats wrong ? or how to fix it ? Nafeez2125 Posted March 3, 2017 Share Posted March 3, 2017 normally the handbrake trigger is -ve one so when you lift your handbrake a -ve signal should go to the HKS unit. since i couldnt fine one (i think my handbrake trigger is +ve) ive just connected the handbrake signal from the HKS unit to a ground on the car. so everytime i remove the key it works.
