catch tank breather filter

Recommended Posts

ok ive got my catch tank, ive got no where to fit it other than one place ive found. the issue is that that place is right at the front grill.

im thinking that if i stick a breather filter on the catch tank, the air flowing to it while driving may stop the air from the rocker cover being expelled. ie the air will flow through the filter, through the tank and into the engine instead of being blown out the engine, through the tank and out the filter.

does this make sense and will it be ok? :(

its just with it being direct forced air flow that im unsure of. ive had it there for a couple of weeks now. have a look at my thread to see where and it seems to be ok for now. just didnt want the force air stopping the engine breathing mate.

I have the hose going from the rocker to the catch can inlet, and on the other side of the cans port, have a little breather filter attatched.I didnt like the idea of leaving it open so moisture/water could get in the can.You could leave it open or run a hose off the other port and tuck it inside youre engine bay some where, just to vent.
